But for whatever reason, you either don't see that perfect character, they're on a different meme, you come too late, real life happens, or, if you do start a thread, it never goes anywhere. This meme is for all those times you've wanted to tag, but didn't, meant to tag, but forgot, or just otherwise didn't do what you wanted to.

I don't mind giving you the gist of things (or working some sort of AU or multiversal nexus/faux in-game sort of thing). Sorry about my speed here, it's a cross between work demands and inconvenient inbox issues (which apparently everyone is having?).

FF8 actually makes for a really interesting AU, I think. There's actually a game based on it. I want to say it's witchesreign or something? :|a Either way, if you're familiar with 7 (who isn't...?), it's that mix of weird RPG fantasy mechanics, strange backwards tech but also futuristic tech, and a military academy/orphanage that will "take in kids as young as five years old" sob.

TL;DR, after the first disc, everything stops making sense. And it isn't just the translation at fault.
