You're a pop star, or a royal, or maybe even the last of your kind who will bring about the Earth's redemption. Whatever the case may be, you're in a position that may be a bit dicey if you attract the wrong kind of attention. And you're a bodyguard, a soldier, a knight - a protector. Somehow, you've been roped into protecting this person. You'll be rewarded, of course. The work may be cut out for you, but just do your job, keep your head down, and it'll go smooth. Except for when the two of you break the bounds of professionalism and feelings begin to flourish. Being in such close quarters may get you to see the other in a different light, and saving someone's life just may be the ultimate form of intimacy. Could this be the real danger? To feel so strongly for the one you've sworn to protect...are you compromised? How to Play 1. Comment with your character and preferences, being sure to put if you want to play the guard, the guarded, or either. Also, you may want to put if you prefer fluffy, angsty, or smutty interaction - or have no preference. 2. Comment to others. 3. There are no prompts, because there are so many potential options there could be a hundred. Feel free to play anything: the beginnings of the relationship, just meeting, getting used to each other/not getting along at first, the obligatory first time, a threat on the protected's life and how their protector responds, how the feelings between the two has changed the protection, etc. Your only limit is you.

[Now Lapis gives the command for some of her spirits to go back to the spirit world, turning to give Vita a small, but obviously happy smile back.]

... Yes, it is. Thank you very much, Vita...

... Though, are you uninjured?

[ When she's sure that no one was around, Vita's transformation broke in a flurry of flames and she stood back in her police uniform, readjusting her hat. ]

Eh, if anything, I got a workout. Don't worry, I'm used to this sort of stuff, Miss Fathalla.

[Lapis still looks a bit worried, but her expression slowly starts to settle back into it's usual overly-calm state when she's certain that the other girl is okay.]

All right... [Pause. And then Lapis glances in a way that could almost be considered shy.] ... And, um, just Lapis is fine...

[ Hikaru closed in the distance in between them and she broke out in to a smile. ]

All right. Then you can call me Hikaru.

[ Soon, she noticed that her squad comes to pick up the Gnocem to take them to booking before she heard her stomach rumble. ]

...Well, guess being a superhero works up quite the appetite! Want to grab a bite to eat? I'm paying.

[Lapis blinks, and then gives her a very small grin back along with a nod.

Though she blinks at the mention of getting food, and she doesn't even hesitate to nod in reply.]

... Oh, um, alright... Are you sure? I could pay for my part of it... [Since Lapis does tend to eat a lot.]

I'm totally sure!

[ When her hovercar came, Hikaru took out her keys to start the car and open up the doors for Lapis to get in. ]

What'cha in the mood for?

[She tilts her head for a second as she thinks about that, before hesitantly getting into the hovercar.]

... Um, I'm not really picky... Maybe pizza?

[ Once Lapis was secured in the car, she closed the doors and flew off on her way. ]

Pizza sounds good. What'cha like on yours?

Um... [Hold on, she has to think really hard about this. Since Lapis does like a lot of foods.] I like... chicken, peppers, mushrooms and onions on mine... What about you?

Pepperoni and sausage here! Sometimes I like bacon. [ Once at the pizza place, Hikaru parks the hovercar in an area and opens the doors with a push of a button. ]

Wanna split a pie?

... Split...? [That gets her to blink again, though she quickly nods her head. And there's another faint, but pleased smile on her face.] ... Mm, that sounds like a good idea...
