0. The Fool: Starting on a journey. Doing something foolish and taking it on faith that it will turn out alright. Whether or not it does is up in the air. This is the beginning of something new. You’re going on a journey and you don’t know what’s out there. But don’t worry, it’ll be fine.

1. The Magician: Tricksters and Shysters, this is their card. It’s also the card that embodies the you can do anything, might as well show the world what you’ve got spirit. What you will and what you desire are all obtainable.

2. The High Priestess: Choice: Two roads diverge and which one do you want to take? One is bad and one good, but it’s hard to tell which is which.

3 The Empress: Abundance and fertility. Be fruitful and multiply. Or at least, go at it.

4. The Emperor: Responsibility. It’s a dirty job but someone’s got to do it.

5. The Hierophant: Seeking guidance. Find that mentor figure. Learn something new or figuring out how to do something out that you couldn’t do before.

6. The Lovers: Confusion. Indecision. Id, Ego and Super-Ego. Making a choice between love and the rest of the world.

12. The Hanged Man: Acceptance of Reversals. Something about your life isn’t that great, but you have to put on a smile, grit your teeth and deal with it anyway. Make lemonade out of lemons.

13. Death: Rebirth. Not quite reincarnation - though that would be entertaining. Instead you’re restarting. Everything is behind you. That bad relationship? That evil boss? Gone. Start something new. Begin again. The past is the past. Try something different. Or come back as a honey badger.

18. The Moon: Watch motives. Yes. They are out to get you. Insanity darkness and yet genius and creativity. Mad Scientists and Trust No One. It’s not Paranoia if there really is a flesh eating demon waiting to eat you.

[No greater hate of his was to be trapped. Oh, there was his sense of duty and purpose because without his duties he would be absolutely nothing at all; meaningless and literally nonexistent. Carrying out his duties as a nation isn't such a matter of being confined. The sense of imprisonment came when England is unable to do what he feels is the best for himself and his people--unfortunately, it's a constant struggle between his feelings on this matter and the absolute word of the Crown, which he could not physically disobey.

England has been told to meet with a privateer--Oh, the other way 'round actually. And with the usual stuffy and boring pomp and circumstance while Arthur happened to be conveniently in the vicinity of the man in question. A matter of convenience. And. Having a look at things. From pirate to being captured and dragged back home and punished to mundane tasks easily handled by humans who would be happy to take the pay and luxuries that come with being in a position of meaningless authority.

It feels so wrong, boarding another man's ship carrying the weight of the Crown on his shoulders.

And of course the itchiest bloody wig was included in his punishment. A noose does very little when death isn't permanent.]

The elves were mostly all right. They had some food choice issues. And music issues. And gender issues.

Kili sat in one of the window/door/things watching the parade of elves go by on their daily business. As they would go by, at the ones that he thought were female and good looking, he'd give them a grin and a wink while making sure no one else from the company was around.

After dinner he really, really, didn't need to be caught trying to flirt with elves again.

Truth be told, it hadn't really been anything done intentionally, for all that he'd heard of the TV realm from both Even and Aeleus, with varying shades of warnings. He'd seen Even's new eyes, after all, and when his emotions weren't getting the better of him he recognized that a world with such terrors as that was not one to be visited lightly.

On the other hand, even his Lexicon needed periodic cleanings. Even information became less relevant over time and so things needed to be removed or shuffled off to better places and cross-referenced appropriately. Of course, this requires that he actually know what the various things are or can do, and so when he finds a long forgotten teleport spell hidden away in the pages of his Lexicon it only seems natural that he try out.

Needless to say, he's as surprised as anyone when it actually works and even more surprised when it drops him off somewhere he doesn't actually. And this, of course, means that he might as well explore. It doesn't look like anywhere immediately harmful, after all, and he does still have his lexicon so it's hardly like he's defenseless.

[It's only been a matter of hours since the team's game-changing conversation with Ryoji, but it feels like days. The mood in the dorm is understandably heavy, and Minako feels completely helpless to do anything for anyone. After Ryoji made his exit, and everyone separated to think and cope, she immediately went to her room. She needed to plan, to think, to try to figure out what to do to keep her game face on and be the leader they were all looking to her to be.

She realized soon enough that she couldn't do it alone. She needed someone to lean on, someone to talk through it with. She needed to not make decisions like these all on her own. Who better to turn to than her senpai? He'd been there for her, he knew the team, he had leadership qualities and a brave heart. He loved her and she could trust him, both to give her good counsel and to not begrudge her needing support. So she's at his door, knocking softly, knowing he'll be awake even at the late hour. Really, how could any of them sleep at a time like this?]
