The Abrupt Kissing Meme

Plain and simple: your character is being kissed. Abruptly. How did this happen? Were they talking too much to the point where it was the only way to shut them up? Was someone bidding adieu or just not able to hold in their feelings? Or was this some CPR class gone bad? More importantly—how do they react?

How this works:
→ Leave a comment with the usual information in the subject line: character name, fandom. Any preferences, including what you don't want, should be included as well. Congratulations, your character is being kissed by whoever tags them!
→ Tag around.
→ Feel free to roll RNG (1-9) if you cannot come up with scenarios of your own.

[ Though they fought the squidly beast for several long minutes, they finally managed to defeat it (gaining 300 bucks and a level! WOO!). However Reimi had been about to get hit by a flailing appendage in the creature's death throes, if Leon hadn't protected her. It knocked him out, and worried he'd drown, Reimi had quickly grabbed him and swum towards shore. ]

Leon? Hey... Leon!

[ Calling his name didn't do anything - shaking him didn't do anything. Was she too late? Reimi hesitated a second longer. But no, waiting wasn't going to do help him either. ]

Sorry about this...!

[ A bit embarressed, the ranger leaned over the other man to bring her lips to his. It's just CPR, not a kiss, but -- uh, he might not think that if he came to. ]

[Leon is no fan of fighting water-dwelling monsters, especially ones with long flailing appendages that just get everywhere while you're trying to focus. This one had been particularly tough to defeat, and fortunately he'd noticed his partner, Reimi, about to be hit and knocked her out of the way in time. Unfortunately, he took a nasty hit to the head and ended up falling into the water, unconscious.

A short time later he comes too suddenly with Reimi's mouth against his. His eyes open wide with confusion, before he pulls away suddenly and starts coughing up water.]

[ When Leon pulled away and started coughing up water, all Reimi could feel was relief that he was all right. ]

Leon! Oh thank god...

[ Embarrassment came on the heels of that, as she glanced away uneasily. ]

Um... are... you all right?

[With the last of the water gone, he runs a hand over his face and glances up at Reimi.]

Yeah.

...Thanks.

[She obviously just saved his life, and he is grateful.]

I'm glad you knew how to do that. [CPR he means. Not kissing.]

[ She sat back against her heels, feeling incredibly awkward. CPR or not that ... was kind of her first kiss. Kind of. ]

Oh- don't mention it! [ She laughed sheepishly. ] I'm.. I'm glad that I knew too. I mean, it was a requirement and all -but still, I'd have felt terrible if I couldn't help you, since you took that hit for me.

Yeah... that thing packed quite a punch.

[He rubs the back of his head where he'd been hit, then slowly gets to his feet. Leon is awkward at the best of times, and even moreso after having his life saved by a girl using mouth to mouth on him. Hnn.]
