[While Tohko was usually happy to be stuck in her clubroom all day after school, she needed something to read while her underclassmen wrote for her, and even though it was a little risky, she had decided to check out a few books in the library. She..hadn't expected to be checking out a cute girl while walking there though. She hadn't expected a situation like this at all..but that was how love sometimes was in the stories. It could be a force that either made you happy or ruined you for life.

So, steeling herself, Tohko forced herself to walk up to the girl, smiling happily with a red face.]

Good morning! How are you?! Are you interested in joining the book club?

[ Miyuki jumped ten feet off the ground! Okay not literally, but she did jump a bit with the girl who suddenly ran up to her. She felt a little silly getting so scared like that, but sometimes it was an easy thing to do for her.

She laughed sheepishly and rubbed the back of her head as if to play off her embarrassing display. ]

I-I'm doing well?

[ She blinked and gave the other girl a curious look. ]

[And, since Tohko didn't mean to scare the adorable girl who stole her heart, she looked pretty flustered and sheepish as she waved her hands and attempted to explain herself and apologize.]

Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to scare you..but it's a really wonderful club, and you look like just the type of person who would like to curl up with a great volume! I'm sure you love The Dancing Girl, or Tangerines, or Alice and Wonderland!

Well... I do really like books. Though I'm not sure if I should read that last one anymore. I swear I always wake up from the strangest dreams when I read that.

Well, if you really love books, then you should join us at the book club! But I'm sorry to hear that Alice in Wonderland gives you weird dreams. What sort of weird dreams are they? Can you remember?

[ Her cheeks started to change colors and she couldn't even look at the girl anymore. ]

[That..kind of reminded her of Nanase for a moment. With that sort of reaction, those dreams must have been really embarrassing..]

Oh, I'm sorry! You don't have to tell me..but why do you have dreams like that because of Alice in Wonderland? It's a fairly tame piece of literature.

It's not like I choose to have these dreams! They just happen!

I know! But..it just seems really strange. Maybe one of the interpretations of the books past is seeping into your subconscious! In that case..maybe if you read a different book after finishing Alice in Wonderland, you'll have better dreams!

[To be honest, Tohko wasn't expecting this girl to just give in so easily, since not many people actually showed an interest in joining. She had been preparing a long speech in her head about why books were great and how the book club was wonderful..but she just smiled happily when the girl said she would join without an argument.

Now she could win her over with lots of wonderful, delicious books and show her that she was a dependable president!~]
