Bathing Meme!

Scrub-a-dub-dub, this meme is ridiculous. No, really. This is a meme about taking a bath. Silly.
- Post your character with name, series, and preferences as the subject header.
- Reply to other characters, using the RNG (1-7) to choose a bath type from the list below.
- Characters bathe. Or other things involving a bath. Whatever, dudes. Anything goes!
- Sexy times and/or triggery material may pop up in threads. Please be conscientious toward your fellow roleplaying buddies!
1. Bubble Bath: Here, the characters are sharing a humongous bubble bath with all the froth they can handle. The scent is delicious, the water is warm—go on, enjoy yourselves!
2. Shower: Perhaps not as fun as a bubble bath, but hey, at least it's built to accommodate two. Don’t slip!
3. Hot Tub: A whirlpool of warmth and—mm. Don't mind me. I'll just be sinking in.
4. Hot Springs: An outdoors bath is good, too, right? Or maybe this is part of a hotel. Either way, it sure is steamy.
5. Decadent Bath: There could be bubbles here, or maybe just those wonderful smelling oils and salts. Awwww, yeah. This bath probably cost a small fortune, so you should enjoy it while it lasts.
6. Lake: In case the hot springs weren't rugged enough for you, here's an actual lake, complete with waterfall for all your rinsing pleasures.
7. Other: Bathe in a shoebox for all I care!

As much as he didn't want to admit to it, he wanted the company and enjoyed being around someone again, though it hadn't been that long since he took that retched bus trip into the desert.
"You're really something..." He spoke quietly as his voice trailed off.

"Though it's...kind of you to say. I'm just a selfish woman who feels a little lonely, that's all. Maybe that's not something you can understand." She secretly felt certain he could, but with that sort of opening, would he admit it? He'd staunchly denied it thus far. "Regardless...thank you for staying, Doctor."
no subject
"I doesn't hurt to travel with someone. You have me fooled every time we meet; you seem rather complacent and confident in yourself." Granted he could count all their meetings on one hand, but this was perhaps the most vulnerable he's seen her. Excluding the lack of clothes, of course.

"Rarely." He replied simply, offering a bemused smile, "But you're not old, might I point out." it was difficult to tell a Time Lord that, as he tapped her on her nose.
no subject
"But me? This is the oldest I've ever been. Though I've been rather blessed, genetically speaking. I certainly don't look my age." That smile turned into a smirk, that one she has where she knows more than she's saying. "I suppose we've got that in common."

However, back in his mind, he vaguely made himself aware of the prophecy that was haunting him. Shaking that off, he stands back up, "Where's your towel? Can't have you catching a cold. Now that would be a shame!"
And when he stepped into the door frame between the restroom and the bed, he realized there was only one bed. Would that make things awkward? He didn't need to sleep, so could offer it to her.

She stepped out to dry herself off, looking over at the Doctor in the doorway. "Have they got a minibar, by the way?"
no subject
He slips over to the mini bar and begins searching through their options. "Like wine?"
no subject
"Just the thing after a relaxing soak, wouldn't you say?"
no subject
He couldn't help his eyes roaming up her legs, tracing the curves of her hips, and then offered her a smile when catching her eye. "Not going to catch a cold, will you?" It wasn't cold outside by any means. The Doctor only lacked conversational topics.

River leaned against the side of the desk, fluffing her hair with the towel to dry it. "So - what should we do while we've got this lovely hotel room at our disposal, hm? Rent a naughty flick and order up some room service?"
no subject
"A toast, first? To friendship?" Which made him wonder how much in the future he would get to know her.
no subject
She clinked her glass against his but waited to drink. "Anything to add?"
no subject
And on that note he took a sip of his wine as he leaned against the bar, "Not bad! Actually this is quite good!" He looked the bottle over a moment, before curiously looking over to River.

She felt the Doctor's eyes upon her, and she looked over at him. "Yes?"
no subject
He wondered if they ever did.
no subject
She meant that to be a hopeful and encouraging statement.
"I know at the core you're the same, but...it is rather difficult having a relationship with someone who's your best friend one day and an acquaintance the next."
no subject
Because the guilt was too much for him to handle right now and his emotions were raw.
no subject
But when she looked at him, though he'd turned from her....she saw it. Pain of his own in the way he held himself.
She reached a hand to his shoulder. "...If you really want me to go, I'll go. But only for today. Whether you like it or not, Doctor, you're going to see me again. You've got all those wonderful adventures to look forward to, and some of them you're going to need me. You can run away from me all you want, but you can't keep away from the universe. You love it too much."
no subject
He straightens up his posture and nods to the bed, "You can stay, it's fine. I don't sleep much." He offers her a smile.

Her hair? That might be a disaster. No, definitely a disaster. "No, I'm just being polite, really." There's a shrug as he took another sip of wine.

River leaned back, putting her hands behind her on the bes. She eyed him suspiciously. "Sweetie, really. Tell me what's wrong. You're sending all sorts of mixed signals and that's supposed to be my job."
no subject
Finally, brown eyes met hers, "I've lost some friends, and it's entirely my fault. I'm traveling alone now, not wanting history to repeat itself, as it naturally does." He opens his mouth to say something more, but then promptly shuts it and out of habit, rubs a closed eyelid.
"I'm sorry. I didn't want to burden you."
