Whatever the case may be, you're in a position that may be a bit dicey if you attract the wrong kind of attention. And you're a bodyguard, a soldier, a knight - a protector. Somehow, you've been roped into protecting this person. You'll be rewarded, of course. The work may be cut out for you, but just do your job, keep your head down, and it'll go smooth. Except for when the two of you break the bounds of professionalism and feelings begin to flourish. Being in such close quarters may get you to see the other in a different light, and saving someone's life just may be the ultimate form of intimacy. Could this be the real danger? To feel so strongly for the one you've sworn to protect...are you compromised? How to Play 1. Comment with your character and preferences, being sure to put if you want to play the guard, the guarded, or either. Also, you may want to put if you prefer fluffy, angsty, or smutty interaction - or have no preference. 2. Comment to others. 3. There are no prompts, because there are so many potential options there could be a hundred. Feel free to play anything: the beginnings of the relationship, just meeting, getting used to each other/not getting along at first, the obligatory first time, a threat on the protected's life and how their protector responds, how the feelings between the two has changed the protection, etc. Your only limit is you.

[The thing about being a half vampire was that no side was safe. Full vampires didn't liked the half bloods and things usually turned ugly between them. Mixing with humans had been safe up until the found out that vampire blood could be used as a drug and while half vampire blood wasn't as strong they were easier to catch.

Claude was one of the few half vampires that hadn't been made into a victim thanks to Kuroh. Alone he would probably already be dead, dried of all his blood or neck broken. Keeping a low profile and pretending to be just a rebellious teenager helped on the way as well.]

Andy doesn't want to sound ungrateful. This man just saved him from an explosion that leveled an entire block of the Kent campus. Him and everyone else in the building with him, which Andy wouldn't have believed had he not seen it with his own eyes. But then, he wouldn't have believed in men that could fly either had he not just been taken halfway across the country by one.

Rescued or kidnapped? Andy's not really sure which category he falls under just yet. Because while this flying man had saved everyone, it'd been him - and only him - that he'd taken with him. Something about him being the target, about a toyman and other stuff he hadn't caught. Most of his attention at the time had been on just not passing out.

And now they're back on solid ground again. The young cadet's grateful for that, at least. But he still doesn't know where they are or where they're going, and in his experience that's never a good thing.

It's not that Risette can achieve world peace or anything similar, but Gale fulfills his duty to perfection nonetheless. [Rudy didn't quite expect to end up in this situation. It's not the first time he's been hired to guard something, no. Or in this case, someone. Yet one thing came to another, and here he was standing guard outside her room.

He understood why, really. With a reputation like Jane's, you drew a lot of fame. And with fame came a lot of notoriety on top of unwanted attention. He'd gladly rush out to protect her under any other circumstances, but... was the whole hiring process really necessary? Protecting someone you cared for was one thing, but it was a totally different thing in a professional setting. Having to stay professional around Jane - especially in public - was admittedly more complicated than he'd thought it'd be.

Maybe it was time for them to talk. Once he's sure there's no one else around, he'll gently knock on her door, calling out to her.]

[ having him around was going to be distracting. he was just supposed to get in, close the keyhole, search for any clues, and get out. sora would be along later to check the state of the world, but as he was here, he was supposed to blend in. hard to do with riku being--well. riku, with blinding silver hair and near-florescent eyes. he'd pulled it off well enough, until his use with yen sid's memory spell backfired.

he must've picked the wrong 'parents' to fool, because they were quite quick to hire koujaku to tail him and make sure he was alright. it felt like being back home again with his overprotective brother. it took everything he had not to whip out his keyblade and just sock him in the stomach. he tried to keep his voice down as he turned a corner, the sky darkening by the minute as he trailed deeper into the forest. ]

[Reaper's gotten out of harder places but he's not usually in charge of getting someone else out with him. He's done it before however and he'll be damned if he doesn't do it again. Possibly literally. They can't walk. They need transport. Which means jacking a car. The problem is making sure they're not spotted before they do - and she's pale enough to stand out on a good day. He's also not sure how far behind their pursuit is either. Hugging the run-down side of the building he sneaks a quick glance around the corner in the falling dusk. He'd rather not shoot anyone here but it all comes down to how much of a problem they prove to be.
