Scenarios

1. Try to tell you 'no', but my body keeps on telling you 'yes'.   You absolutely, positively do NOT want to sleep with this person again.  So why the heck do you keep waking up with their underwear on your bedpost?

2. What happens when a tornado meets a volcano.  Maybe you're just too different to see eye to eye.  Or maybe you're just too alike and no one's going to compromise.  Either way, your battle of wills looks more like World War 3 than a lover's spat. 

3. All your love is revenge.   You don't know why you're together.  You don't know how to be apart.  But is whatever that's making you stay with this person worth all the misery?

4. I would die for you baby (but you won't do the same).  Ever love someone so much you'd take a bullet for them?  What if you want to find out if they would do the same for you?  It's not that crazy to demand the same kind of devotion from your lover, right?  After all, it's only fair.  You aren't obsessed, you're just in love.

5.  Somewhere along in the bitterness.  Where did things go wrong?  You started out so in love, so attached, and now it seems like things are falling apart.  Can the relationship be fixed or is this where you both stare awkwardly at each other and decide who gets the CDs and who gets the goldfish?

6. You let me complicate you.  You're not good for them.  You're corrupting them, you're ruining their life, you're causing them pain, even if you never meant to.  Why are they still hanging around?

7. I don't care if you really care as long as you don't go.  So there's no love in the relationship.  But there's so many other reasons to stay together, right?  Sometimes having a lover is more important than being a lover.

8. I will go down with this ship.  It's been over a long time and your lover has moved on.  But you're never going to give up the hope that they might come back to you.  Love is supposed to be forever.

Brushing against Soubi in the street, Minami almost didn't look up to notice him. When he did, though, curiosity and attraction struck hard enough to knock the cell phone right out of his hand. His hands were tied. He couldn't do anything except walk up to the object of his fascination and ask him to dinner. He barely remembered to go back and pick up his phone afterward.

For some reason, Soubi accepted and the two of them began to meet occasionally, casually. Each time, Minami grew more enamored with the man, hanging off every word, even when they were cold or dismissive ones. His face or a simple text became a highlight of the day, occupying his mind for hours afterward. He kept his interest as carefully polite as possible, his manner gentle. He didn't think Soubi would appreciate his hidden proclivities, after all, most normal people wouldn't. And he wanted to protect every drop of the man's interest in him. Especially when it seemed that it was draining away little by little with each meeting.

As Soubi became colder, Minami grew more gentle, although inwardly he wanted to seize their cooling friendship and forcibly ignite it. He was caught between his need of the man's company and fear of pushing him away completely. At last, one day, Soubi stopped answering texts, and didn't pick up the phone for him, either. Minami spent two hours wearing a path down his carpet before leaving the house to find Soubi, and speak to him in person. He would patiently search the places he'd seen until he found him. He quickly became disheveled in the attempt, glasses askew, hair and suit mussed. It didn't even occur to him to fix any of these, as it normally would.

Where was Soubi? He was in at his place making some food. He had been really busy with Ritsuka and school lately and had forgotten all about his stalker. Soubi knew a few things about stalking, and well Minami was it. Even if the other had tried to hide his tendencies, It was clear to Soubi. After all, he had clung to two men that hurt his body the entire time he was with them. He could spot the signs as the other grew more enamored with the less attention he paid him.

For certain, it wasn't a person that Soubi really wanted attached to him. He had his own issues that Minami could never know about. It was interesting at first, call it morbid curiosity, that he had become so attached so quickly. That he had been so bold. That was why he had said at first, why he had humored him.

Right now his arm and head were bandaged from a recent fight. There were long cuts that he had treated himself. He was very good at it though. When the door was knocked on, Soubi raised an eyebrow and opened the door. "You look terrible." Soubi said in a cold voice, reaching out and fixing those glasses.

It's a strange dance they play, never quite madly in love, never quite not either.
He's not sure how he feels about her - emotions isn't his strong point, mainly because he chooses to ignore them or let them force him into things.

At least that's what he tells himself. So he's back at the door again. In Jersey. He claimed it was a case. John's married. He doesn't keep the watch over him that he used to.

Maybe that's why he does it, maybe his reasons are entirely to amuse himself outside of driving himself mad with boredom.

Either way, she'll know. He intends that - it's different than him coming to her in disguise before, needing a meal.

She'd been expecting him, but in many ways this was still a surprise. For one, he was himself when she opened the door -no fake mustache, uniform or other disguises. Just .. him. How long had it been since she'd just seen him, alone, without some sort of ulterior motive?

"Mr. Holmes. To what do I owe this honor?"

She's done her best to move on. She has a life for herself here, now, but it's never included a significant other; it was too dangerous, was her argument to herself. Alternatively, how could she explain his visits? 'An old friend'? That hardly seemed appropriate. They weren't friends. But they weren't not.

Her eyes are wary as she takes him in, aware of the differences; if he was here for a case, it was unlikely he would be here so openly. Mycroft Holmes was still a force to be reckoned with. But, if he was here for himself. Understanding dawns and she smiles, opening the door a bit wider.

"You'd best come in."

[ In all these months remaining a prisoner in asgard's dungeon, loki has noticed that not once has his so called brother tried to visit him. Before returning home, before allowing the avenger's to realize that the thunderer had helped their enemy take shelter in the comfort of his chamber, loki remembers those dark nights when thor would distract him in the most deliciously intimate of ways. However, perhaps it meant nothing to thor, for not one single visit was had. What, did his screams not echo down the corridors? Did not the ground shake when he twisted in agony?

There were some scars that would never heal, nor would he want to; for this was all brought by the allfather. It is he that is responsible for the marring of his skin. Because that same man had been the one who had ordered it. These last couple of weeks, he has healed enough to where his sorcery is coming back to him in the most tingling of ways. Having some of his power back, has allowed Loki to keep tabs on his brother. The Mortal Jane, it seems that thor had been foolish enough to bring her into the same realm as he. And taking note that the thunderer was not hesitant when he kissed her for the second time. Those foul lips were upon HIS thunderer. This, loki has decided, was thor's way of telling him that he has given up on him even when it was just months ago that thor had promised him the contrary.

When the tesseract no longer had a hold on him upon coming back home . . It was only then that certain memories have been stolen from him and left something horrible in its place. Loki can't tell between the truth from the lies, anymore. Which is why the trickster is not the least bit sympathetic in his manner when thor finally decides to visit him.

Having been sat on his chair whilst reading a book, the liesmith slowly closes the reading material with a sidelong glance towards his lover, ex-lover, hel he can't recall anymore. Not that it would matter, either way. ]

Decided to visit me now, have you, brother? It must have been such a chore to you.
