Pretty much, this meme is what it says on the tin. Often times, when we want to ship, we have a specific itch we want to scratch: a certain dynamic, a kind of ship, or a scenario we want to play. A general shipping meme is too vague, and you can't get exactly what you want without seeming oddly stifling.

This place is basically a "kink" meme, but with...shipping kinks rather than smut ones? Something like that? It's hard to explain, but you know what it is. Here, you can make connections with those who may want the same scenarios and dynamics you do.

A few general guidelines:

Try to keep things to specific TYPES of ships or dynamics, not specific ships themselves. But, of course, I can't stop you.
Please be respectful of everybody.

Does OTA really mean open to all? Is it crazy to want to ship with people outside your own canon? What if I really, really want to ship with this one character so fucking bad I'm ready to call out any of them but it's weird as hell because I'm not a castmate?

Well, you're in luck, you little assholes. This is a place for discovering what open to all really means. It's for crossover ships 24/7. Multiversal love connections. Etc etc etc. Better yet, there's three ways to play.

A. OFFER BY SERIES & CHARACTER
Clarissa explains it all - this is where you offer up your character and people not from that series will flock to you.

B. OFFER BY SCENARIO
Do I even have to explain this? No, I don't.

C. REQUEST BY CHARACTER
This is where you can voice your desire for your Draco Malfoy/Vriska Serket/Sam Winchester/Thor for your Onceler, you thirsty bitch.

FYI, those commenting to others with their characters (ie, in the "series & characters" threads) might want to give a short blurb about their canon and character, in case whoever you're responding to is canonblind.

HOW TO PLAY

For series & characters:
- If not already made, make a subthread with your canon. And if you already see your character
- Comment with your character offered.
- People will respond to you with characters from a different canon they'd like to play against yours.

For dynamic/scenario
- Similar to the last meme, comment with the scenario or dynamic you'd like to play out. If you have a character already in mind you want to play for this, mention them.
- Others will comment, offering a character from a different canon.

For requesting characters
- Comment with the character you want, character name in the subject line.
- Say why you want the character.
- Say who you want to ship the character with - optionally. But it's probably easier that way.

I've got a couple of characters I wouldn't mind pitching. I use Orihime the most, but I've also got Rukia (

damn_juicebox), Hisana (

dead_wife), Nanao (

lt_nanao_ise), and Yoruichi (

ihascheezburger). I don't have an account for Tatsuki, but I'd like to try playing her too.

I'm open to almost all crossover canons regardless of medium, so long as I don't have to do extensive research to understand what's going on. (And if research is involved, maybe meet in the middle with some generic setting?)

I'd love to try playing Kon off Rukia sometime. It'd be a fun sweet/sour kinda thing. I could easily see Kon AU-ed in to Bleach as a cocky, newer Soul Reaper.

Also, if it interests your inner Nanao or Yoruichi, I have Kakashi Hatake from Naruto.

A little rusty, but. (I've always kind of liked the idea of her hanging out with The Doctor or other time-powered people.)

Since finding an Andy is next to impossible, having her fangirl/tease more kind, stoic people would be fun. I kind of like the villain angles too.

Been a while, but I've been wanting to trot her out again.

I've got Sailor Mars and Sailor Venus, both of whom like teenage and college-age guys. Secret identities are a bonus, but not necessary!

Chun-Li tends to do well with lawful good guardian/cop/detective types.

Now in the right thread...

Manga version Asura, but I do play him from the anime occasionally.

I've always wanted to play out an evil woman manipulating fellow villain Asura, but he's manipulating her back and it's all a big fake thing... that neither one is ever sure is becoming real or not.

Also, perhaps the good ol' morality pet scenario. Someone sweet and pure hearted who keeps him from doing his whole 'kill everyone' thing.

For some reason, this madwoman over here gets along very well with Death the Kid and Naruto. Anyone want to throw their Kids and Narutos at her?

I just want someone to play Draco to my Hermione. :( And none of that "suddenly they fall in love and the past is forgotten" nonsense. I'd love to play a real relationship of forgiveness and acceptance before getting to the mushy bits, thanks.

On that note, I wouldn't mind a Snape either. Sob.

I'll be brief and cut to the chase and say I play from Teen Wolf, more specifically I play Derek from the series and play him in m/m ships.

Essentially, what I looking for is to try several kinks/scenarios such as:
Waterworks - Either him doing the marking or the marking done to him
Mpreg - This can go either way, as well.
Beastiality - ...so yeah, Derek full on four-legged, large wolf form.
Rimming - Don't ask, it's just a huge kink of mine.
Halecest - I've always wanted to try Derek/Peter. Sue me.

Characters I'm interested in/prefer playing with: Any guys from Teen Wolf, would love a Sam or Dean from Supernatural, Dyson from Lost Girl, or any guy you wanna through at me really.

I'm p. much canonblind when it comes to Teen Wolf, but I do play a Dean and the rest of your kinks definitely overlap with mine, especially rimming and bestiality. My Dean tends to be early or pre-series, although I can move around depending on what point might suit a scenario best.

As far as canon goes, all you really need to know is that it's primarily about adolescent teenage werewolves. Anything else that may be important I could just mention during RP since I'm assuming you don't watch the show at all. And any point you want to play Dean is fine with me, I'm caught up to the current season! I actually have a bit of headcanon involving their folks, not romantically involved, but still.

And before I ramble any further you can bother me on this sock here
