The Hug Meme

Seriously, I feel like a meme pez dispenser. "I'm really looking for a [insert meme description HERE]!" says my plurk list. "I got you covered," I reply. Whatever.

Yes. It's a meme about hugs. One character is hugging another character. It might segue to cuddles or something a bit sexier, but we're starting off with a hug.

...

Yeah, I got nothin' beyond it's a hug.

• Comment with your character! It's also probably a good idea, in this sort of meme, to specify if you're looking for shippy stuff, fluff, awkward brotimes, awkward people your character has never met being forced to hug your character for whatever reason, or the prelude to smut.



• Reply to other characters. You are either now currently hugging or in the prelude to hugging. Why are you hugging? I-...
  
  ...you know what? Challenge goddamned accepted. Here's some suggestions. Some of them are pretty bad.
  
  1. You're happy! You're in a good mood! Maybe someone gave you a thoughtful gift like...like they baked you a cake. (Obviously, cake is optional with prompt 1, but it's an example.)
  
  2. You're sad! You're upset! Someone left your hypothetical cake out in the rain yes I went there. Or maybe something legitimately upsetting like a family member died or you hurt your ankle or whatever.
  
  3. It's the first touching reunion after a really fucking long time, and the parting probably had some angst involved. It is a hug of greeting. Of welcome. The prelude to saying, "You douche, you borrowed $50 and vanished."
  
  4. You're secret agents/spies/something along those lines and pretending like you're in a huggy relationship is part of your deep cover, so get a'cuddling.
  
  5. You got trapped in an enclosed environment. There's a mysterious, malevolent gamemaster forcing you to run around this enclosed space whilst solving puzzles for no apparent reason. Failure means death. You and your partner have just deciphered the latest riddle and it, or at least you think, says that you two need to hug to solve the puzzle. You think.
  
  6. Or something else.

[Rail hated this game ever since it started. Or at least this whole thing was advertised as a game, but she knew it had to be some kinda experiment. Like one of those labrats trapped in a complex maze and they had to push buttons or something to find their way out.

She was painfully familiar with the concept, so the sooner they got out of here, the better. In fact she's hoping that they're gonna meet this "gamemaster" pretty soon - she's got a few handmade exponsives with his name on it.

Up until this point, she's been pretty useless as far as puzzle-solving goes. She knows she's no good at it, so she's left it to Greece to figure these things out. However, now that they're at the final puzzle, they've been debating the answer for a few minutes now.]

[ for future reference, haruka is never, ever going along with one of nagisa's crazy schemes ever again. (unless mackerel were somehow involved.) but this is exactly the sort of thing a level-headed, sensible person like makoto would have nipped in the bud, but for some reason or other makoto hadn't been around when this particular plan was conceived, and now here they are.

"here" being the school festival. "here" being the swim club's booth, with a large sign advertising half-naked boys hugging for money. because they need money. because they need money for the gym. because they need the gym to swim.
