[Once he felt that her hold was solid he started forward, swimming easily along the surface of the water, steadily moving away from shore in long, gradual zig-zags.]

[She gasped when he started, having to hold on tighter by wrapping her arms around him.]

Just tell me if I'm going too fast, alright? [He glanced back over his shoulder with a smile.]

[Looking at him, she smiled shyly and nodded.] O-Okay...

[He nodded, then swam out a little further ahead. As they left the close sight of the shore he started swimming straighter, following the line of land.]

[As they swam out farther, she strengthened her hold just a bit. The water was pretty deep now, well above what she was used to. As long as she was with him, though, she knew she'd be all right.]

['Course she'd be. Even as they went further out he still kept it nice and even, pacing the kicks of his fins.

Glancing up with a blink, he smiled and gestured.] Hey, look!

[She looked in the direction he indicated, and spotting the familiar signs of dolphins she smiled, relaxing a little.]

Oh wow...!

[He glanced over his shoulder with a small chuckle, slowing his swim.] Wanna say hi?

[strengthinkindness]

[Glancing at him, she giggled and nodded.] Y-Yeah...!

[He grinned at her response and turned out toward the fins on the horizon.]

Take a quick breath, alright? I'm not gonna dive, but calling them over will require me gettin' my head underneath. [He snickered a little.] Wouldn't want you taking a mouthful of ocean on accident.

Okay...

[She did as he said, taking a breath and holding it.]

[When she did that he slowed to a stop, then ducked his head underneath, still doing his best to keep from dunking Fluttershy as well, even with the preparatory breath.

A few noises emit from his throat, sounding extremely dolphin-like; apparently they were heard, because the fins ahead of them stop, whorl around in the ocean, and then start heading their way, with their owners occasionally porpoising out of the water.

Popping his head back out, Chris glanced around them with a smile when the pod surrounding them, chittering happily, and he laughed a bit, taking up a more easy position in the water. Two dolphins swam up to them directly and he placed his hand on one when it nosed him, and he gave Fluttershy a grin.]

Fluttershy, this is Click- [He gestured to one, then to the other.] -and Whistle.

derp, that's supposed to be Artemis...Diana was her Roman equivalent. Win.

[He ran a hand down her back, trying to soothe her more than himself at this moment. At least he had had time to let it sink in.]

We found Prometheus at a morgue. He was a dead guy who kept coming back to life. Sam and I thought he was the z word, so we went to investigate, and nope, definitely not the undead. Thing was, he had no memory, but he did have the gods hot on his trail because he wasn't supposed to escape the mountain. You know Sam and me, we tried to help him anyway.

[His eyes closed, expression going soft when she kissed him and he managed a little smile when she pulled back.]
