the unexpected, unlikely, unconventional, opposite (not so unresolved) UST smut meme Beauty and the Beast. Bulma and Vegeta. Bert and Ernie. Some of fiction's greatest couples and romances haven't been the expected, love at first type sorts (at least not mutual love at first sight...). There's something more fulfilling in the UST and undisclosed desires that come from the pairing of the opposite, the unlikely, or the unexpected, like two hotheads, a geek and a bad girl, an evil villain and a pure-hearted heroine. And you know what's even better? The realization of all that tension - maybe even tension you never realized before. This meme is for examining the sexual aspects of an opposites attract or unexpected pairing. Have these two been together despite all the odds, or is this the first burst of realization that "hey, I want to fuck you like an animal?" Whatever the case may be (genuine affection, sexual attraction, a one-night stand, an attempt to ruin them - I mean what), you're together in the Biblical sense. Remember, though, there's lots of ways to interpret this meme. "Opposites" doesn't necessarily have to mean opposite personality. It can be radically different upbringings, worldviews, species, sexual experience, and a plethora of other things you can think of. Unexpected gives you a whole world of options, and unlikely can mean characters from radically different canons that you've never even thought of throwing together. So have fun! Feda puts up a front as an everyday, if extreme delinquent. Rude, crass and the exact opposite of model student, he treats almost everyone he meets like they're there for his personal amusement. Women of all ages are flirted with aggressively. In truth he is keeping people at a distance purposefully, as he is an emotional wreck and prefers not to have feel anything. Those that know his secret side know he is violent and unstable, but at his heart he is just a messed up kid who is trying to feel safe.

A loud, friendly tornado of a man that is always high energy and out for a good time, nothing seems to keep him down. He has little to no regard for social norms and just does whatever he likes, but his heart is (usually) in the right place. Under that, he's an emotional coward that is severely afraid of real emotional attachment, so he keeps his life as shallow as possible. He never means to hurt anyone, but always does anyway.

*Noir isn't exactly certain what the draw of Feda is. He's certainly a lot louder than she's used to - and she doesn't exactly go out of her way for company. She's used to being a lone wolf. Of making ties only to lose them as she moved from place to place.

*So why is Feda different? It's not like she's talked about herself to really any degree. But the fact that she keeps running into him keeps living more and more of an impression on her.

*She might actually like him, come to think of it.

*These thoughts circle through her head while she lounges on the knee of her giant mecha - called a Guardian - after completing some maintenance. The armor-like plating shines faintly in the light. It's not like it can fit indoors, anyway! But the sun's warmth feels good for now, though she'll no doubt have to get up and off of it before it can heat up too much. It's something that she actually does, deciding to go pester him in her own way. Maybe he'd be up for some drinks at home?*

[Feda wasn't quite a lone wolf himself. He had a lot of the traits of one in some ways; never settling down, never forming relationships of any real depth, always looking out for number one and so on. In truth, he was a wolf whose pack was temporarily disbanded. His true friends were all spread out, just waiting to join up again one day. Until then, he was just a drifter with an eye for fun.

Naturally, seeing her Guardian from a distance had him realising that it could only be Noir. How many of those things could their be? And naturally, he see's nothing wrong with being really weird.

In this case, exploiting the fact that people on giant machines don't look up much, by performing a giant running leap and landing beside her into a squatting position, clanging his boots on the metal.

*Okay, not the most graceful of responses - including the flailing as she tries not to fall OFF the Guardian's kneecap. But it broke her general mostly-stoic-faced... face?*

Feda?!

*Noir trembles from being surprised so badly, even as she recovers from almost-falling.*

C-couldn't you holler from the ground?! I kinda don't like braining myself by falling, y'know! *She's not actually mad - if the lack of serious heat in her gaze catches Feda's attention. She was just startled as all get-out.*

Relax babe, I'd have caught you.

[Maybe not. It was quite difficult for even someone with his varied abilities, to catch someone below you. But he had a handful of tricks to ensure she didn't hurt herself.

Completely casually, he illustrated he'd prevent her fall by hooking an arm her waist. He wasn't shy, that was for sure.]

*Linefacing, Noir reached up and... squished Feda's cheeks. Not roughly, just, she was vexed. Squish squish.*

You're obnoxious sometimes. *But he was also cute, and that made being mad at him a bit harder for her. Even she had her shallow points at times.*

Yeayah? [Speaking over her cheek squishing escapades, Feda didn't have any qualm about returning the favour with his free hand.]

*She stopped face-squishing so she could just... touch him instead. Her fingertips lightly touched along his cheeks, thumbs touching near the corners of his mouth.*

I mean, I probably could if it was bad enough, but it's hard to get mad at you. Don't abuse this power, okay?

[Blnking just once, Feda's own touch changed. A stroke along her jawline and then a hand on her ear.]

...should have made me promise not to abuse it before you told me, babe.

[Which was the only warning she'd recieve before he tugged her to him and kissed her. He did that sort of thing.]

*Noir opened her mouth, about to retort about an element of trust as a foundation for any relationship, only to have Feda's lips on her own. She made a confused noise in her throat, but she didn't try to pull, or push him away. Her hands just rested on his cheeks for the moment, the tip of one of her pinkies idly tracing his jaw.*

[Feda didn't really do trust. People tended to trust him, and tended to regret it later, but he didn't trust anyone but a select few.

His kiss wasn't soft, his tongue slipping across her bottom lip and the hand on her ear deciding to leave that to instead casually and lightly rest on a breast. Why not, he thought? She clearly dug him and he liked boobs.]

*Noir paused, feeling his hand on her boob and honestly not sure how to react to that kind of contact. It didn't feel bad, nor did it feel particularly good. It was just... there. What was she supposed to do with that?

*Since she kept everyone at a certain distance, it was perhaps to be expected that she found herself stumbling when it came to this. Even so, she found her lips parting slightly at the caress of Feda's tongue, and despite her own nervousness, she kissed back.*
