A Bloody Meeting

Most people meet over something less intimate than blood loss. But you always have to be special, don't you?

Today, the first thing you learn about this stranger is how much of their weight you can hold when their legs are about to give out. An introduction like this could never have slithered out of the mind of some schmaltzy Hollywood director. Forget about a meet-cute. Think trauma surgeon with buckets of fake blood from Spirit Halloween. Are you squeamish? Hope not.

HOW TO PLAY

Reply with your character, hard limits, and preferred role.

FIRST DOOR: A knock at the first available door leaves whoever answers with a stranger bleeding on the step and no explanation.

WRONG PERSON: They fall into your arms calling you by somebody else's name.

IN PLAIN SIGHT: In a crowd, someone catches your wrist and presses your palm over a hidden wound as their attacker watches.

SOMEBODY SAID YOU'D HELP: Somebody sent them to you with your name written down and your help already promised.

DON'T CALL ANYONE: Keep pressure on their side and they'll accept your help. Reach for a phone or call out, and they start dragging themselves away.

JUST GET ME STANDING: All they ask is enough help to stand. They make it about halfway before their weight is back in your arms.

TALK ME THROUGH IT: You handle the first aid while they give directions between increasingly unsteady breaths.

STAY UNTIL I WAKE UP: The last thing they do before losing consciousness is catch your hand and ask if you'll stay until they wake.

TOOK THE HIT: Someone you haven't met shoves you clear and takes the wound meant for you.

FOLLOW THE BLOOD: A blood trail ends with its owner patching themselves up alone.

CLOSE BEHIND: Their attacker(s) rounds the corner just as they collapse against you.

Look, trails of blood are ominous in this day and age especially, and he's still packing his own version of self-defence besides, and hopefully he's wrong but turns out he's not.

It's a lot of coincidence and sticking his nose where he shouldn't, in the end, but he's here now, isn't he? No one else around, almost as if people are pointedly looking away from the blood, and Sasara's stood there twirling his mic between his fingers, looking down at Archer with a look that's hard to read.]
