A disaster has cut you off from safety; mutual survival requires mutual effort, but you didn't choose who you got teamed up with this time.

Take stock of what you have. One of you might know the terrain while the other knows how to stop the bleeding. The other could try to climb, drive, build, track, fight, or keep their head when things get ugly. What happens when the fire cuts the road and the one who can run isn't the one who knows where to go? What do you do when there's one dose of medicine left and two people who need it?

You work together. You survive.

Roll for a Disaster

1. The bridge, road, or pass isn't there anymore.

2. The vehicle is wrecked or out of fuel.

3. Fire! And it's spreading fast.

4. Flood waters rise with no high ground within sprinting distance.

5. In from the north, the wind brings a blizzard, whiteout, or cold bad enough to kill.

6. A structure collapses, only to block all exits.

7. Something out there in the dark is following you.

8. The power is out, phones are dead, and nobody knows you're here.

9. Despite your hopes, evacuation efforts fail.

10. Injury slows one or both of you down.

11. Something else?

Well, it's official: We're stuck.

[ That is, their ship has crashed (again), Anakin's probably at fault (again), but also the reason they're still alive at the end of it (again). So, Obi-Wan can't be too mad, right? This is just the same shade of a different color.

Then again, the tumultuous clouds rumbling overhead threatening to dump rain atop them? Not really optimal. There's no shelter for miles, grassy flats as far as the eye can see, and Anakin knows how much Obi-Wan hates being soaked to the bone for hours at a time. He doesn't cherish the feeling either, but it's preferrable to the gritty dryness of certain alternatives that often come to mind. ]

I'll send a message to Rex. It can't be more than a couple hours before someone can come out. Unless you've got a spare P22F45 fuse on you, in which case, I can have us out of here in five minutes.
