Have you plotted the location of the Oubliettes and tended to the strange fauna and flora, or perhaps you have your own very special job to take care of--fairy extermination, guardian, or reserve member of the army. Your citizenship is a strange one, but your home is dear, but you get such weirdos wandering around these days...

Have you come as a Challenger to the winding corridors of the Underground, to recover what has been stolen by one of the inhabitants of this strange land? Whether a child, a treasure, a memory, or an idea, what you seek lies at the center and you will need all your wits to get through, and maybe a little help from a new friend. Beware the peaches, and remember--nothing is what it seems in this place. Don’t take anything for granted.

Or perhaps you are a Tourist, finding your way to this strange land for no particular reason than it’s there, and so now are you. Perhaps you were sent there by someone with a particularly vindictive sense of humor to enjoy the Bog of Eternal Stench, or you found yourself in a Crystal Ball as you were making your way from one place to the next. It is a fascinating world with utterly unique creatures. Perhaps just a short look around...

[She and her siblings wished each other away by goblin often enough growing up that this is just a vacation for her, now. Regular visitor more than tourist, not a denizen, but easily mistaken for one given her style ~~and the Muppet genes~~]

[They've got a little souvenir/snack cart set up in some courtyard somewhere. Pin badges, lanyards, that kind of thing. No maps, though, always sold out of those.]

[ It feels as though Pip's been wandering the maze for hours, but in Fae-like time, it's likely thirty minutes, max. Just to sit and rest for a while would be nice, she has the stamina of a white collar office worker. She could leave - there's usually a gateway back to the Hedge for those with eyes to see it and the coin to pay it - but then her blisters and time would've been spent for nothing. It's annoying to let Them 'win' like that.

And then there's the glimpse of Sneaky's cart up ahead as a point of interest that isn't just mocking identical walls. Pip's got a little more pep in her step approaching them as a result. Whether she can see through to their mantid mien, or not, her own mein as a frail lich is apparent, and her manner is much friendlier than her death's head smile might suggest. ]

Hail and well met! I didn't expect to see a trader this far into Arcadia.

"Oh honey, you're a long way from there, you're about two counties over, in a straight-line by a bird's wing. Little longer on foot." If Pip could see past what Sneaky looked like to most people, she'd see something much more like a praying mantis than a person, something made of blacker-than-black and micro-prismatic glitter at the same time, something a good three times larger than the more human shape should attest to.

Which was probably why their shadow seemed to fluctuate around the edges, taking up more space than it should across the cobblestones and under the cart, even into the hedge behind.

"And ain't that the darnedest thing, been getting visitors from all over this week, all over." Clicking their tongue against the side of their teeth and shaking their head in some kind of bemused surprise before dusting their hands, "Anyway, what can I help you with?"

[Your labyrinth is haunted now. But really, denizen is possible, as is tourist, and if someone wished Charles away, challenger on a mission.]

[She might be visiting, she might live here, just know that any large animal could actually be her!]

[I think Denizen, one of the babies that never got rescued and grew up here. Though she'll claim to be a relative of the pixies in the rosebush outside, she might be bigger, but she's just as prone to biting.]
