II. going waaaay deep into the angst with this one but honestly i think it could be really interesting to thread ilya at a real low with his depression where he has to go to someone and say "i'm a little scared of myself right now." shane would be an obvious scene partner here, but it could also be really, really interesting to do with anyone else from canon

BASIC INFO
i'm always a little leery of just randomly tagging people with ocs though i'm trying to get out of my shell a little bit because i love writing for this girl.

the long and short of it is she's from a modern fantasy setting, can shapeshift into a wolf, and unfortunately finds herself at the edges of all the supernatural drama in her city just by dint of owning the coffee and wine bar that a lot of the things that go bump in the night like to hang out at. she's a slightly burnt-out, sarcastic mess who used to be an idealist before she took an arrow to the knee was in a car accident. cat's generally friendly, honest to a fault, and a bit of a bleeding heart despite herself.

THREAD IDEAS
I. she's great for those "character down on their luck walks into a bar" threads and those can go all kinds of fun directions

II. i think it's real entertaining to throw her at superheroes and protagonist-types because that's what she should've been and what she is determined not to be because she's cynical now. really.

III. wayward teens and college kids are gonna tug at her heartstrings like no one else and she's liable to make herself somebody's wine aunt/embarrassing older sister figure without any input from them

IV. "character finds a wolf in a place there really shouldn't be a wolf wait why are you turning into a human" has always amused me and struck me as a fun thread idea

OKAY BUT 1 and 4 (and a little bit of 2) are all excellent options!

ETA: okay should explain - Ruby's a magic/science experiment, she's the (sort of) personification of Red Riding Hood, though her father is also the Big Bad Wolf of her (and her compatriots') little program. The program was disbanded and the kids (all with powers/abilities/responsibilities) based on their own specific fairy tale were just kind of let loose into the world and she's been scraping along with various odd jobs and occasionally checking in on the others when she can, all the while knowing that the Storyteller might call them all back up to action again.

okay as promised, too many options to choose from, also not all of these need to be threaded now obviously. however wayward supernatural college kids are basically half of what I play lately so among the options I can give you are:
-a mess with no social skills after spending seven years the only human being trapped in the wrong place
-a dancer with no idea he has magic powers that people pleases too much
-a teenager who made a deal with a demon and now does sketchy jobs all over the place
-a college student who did not make a deal with a demon but is plagued by them because his parents did
-a slightly older college student with self-esteem issues that comes in both angel and witch flavors
-an aspiring librarian with psychometry powers who actually mostly has her shit together but is also kind of a cynical type

Most of them could probably be worked for i or iv in general, or just worked something out with.

Also not necessarily on your list (though iv is possible for anyone really, but he'll just take it in stride) but I have a demigod who runs a bar full of criminals and supernatural things that I feel like would be a fun match-up too. Or a werewolf that teaches psychology.

8. In charge now / evil!Angel - Angel is an Overlord/Crime Lord or heads his own studio after deciding ruthlessness is the only way to protect himself. It's dog eat dog out there, after all.

9. Rehab buddies - the real rehab was the friends we made along the way

10. Win a date with a porn star - Angel is doing his job and having a date with someone who won a competition to hang out with him for an evening. He may or may not act like he wants to be there.

11. Forbidden temptation - Angel is a hard to resist temptation for someone who should not be fantasizing about him, let alone thinking of acting on it for whatever reason (maybe that person is straight, married, religious, much older etc.).

12. Self-Destructive - Angel is doing something dangerous with someone dangerous because he has a tendency to be incredibly self destructive.

13. Spiked - Angel gets his drink spiked by someone

Okay but for real, as much as I'm loving throwing him out as bloodbag callboy interactions with folks, I would love to throw him on the vampire side of that, for such instances as:
-People who want to experience being bitten, but want a safe way to do it (and maybe aren't into the club scene.)
-Need someone strong to help move furniture.
-A 'new boyfriend' for a weekend/event to scare off a stalker/harassing ex.
The possibilities are nigh endless!

Okay aside from just 'more interactions with Ilya castmates in general' and the the usual vampires/daemons/soulmate all the good trope-type AUs, I'm really into these ones

1: Cyberpunk
-He's the face of so many ad campaigns throughout the city that many question whether he's a real person at all (since most people with that kind of reach are also talking heads and he isn't) and aside from all the advertisements, he has little to no digital footprint at all.
He's the son of a city official and an ad executive, and -with their help- he's also something of a digital assassin. Which is to say: he can fake anybody's death, and while he usually uses this skill set to get people out of dangerous situations, he's also used it to rain hell on people he thinks deserve it.

2: Witches/urban fantasy
-He's a generational talent, so the headlines say, elemental magic is his specialty, but he's also proven excellent at disarming magical locks and being able to work his way through the most tangled of magical puzzle traps, it's just a knack, give him time to think about it and he'll pick it apart. He's already well-known as a skilled cursebreaker, and it's one of those things he's going to keep getting better at.

3: Pacific Rim
-Son of a former pilot and her engineer, an engineer/mechanic and reserve pilot in his own right - he graduated the Academy, but he's had a hell of a time finding anyone he's more than just passingly compatible with.

4: Hunger Games
-This one I don't have any specific ideas for, there's too many options! Current tribute, recent victor, basically anything but a Capitol citizen.
In the case of being a victor I'm pretty sure he's one of the ones who went a little feral in order to win and hasn't fully recovered from that, though he's good at keeping a lid on it.

For any of these I'm happy to do it in a meme or in a journal/musebox as a PSL, whatever you're comfortable with.

Okay aside from the usual vampires/daemons/soulmate type AUs, I'm really into these ones

1: Cyberpunk
-Not-often-seen son of a corporate (and crime) magnate, not technically disowned because that would ruin the appearance of the family as a united front, but he's never really far from it, either.
On-grid, he's every inch the reckless, feckless, rich-kid stereotype. It works for him.
Off the grid, on the other hand, he's a pit fighter, specializing in hand-to-hand, but trained with various weapons as well and far preferring the not televised, not even recorded fights to anything where he might be seen by people who aren't there in person. He lets people believe it's ego, but it could well be some darker secret.

2: Witches/urban fantasy
-the youngest son of a pureblood line, nothing much would be expected of him if it weren't for the fact that he inherited his mother's skill at healing magic, something he's mostly managed to keep to himself, not wanting to get wrung out the way she did.
Luckily he's good enough at most other magic that he can keep that under wraps. For now.

3: Pacific Rim
-He'd be a Jaeger pilot, obviously. Though more because it's his only way out of the situation at home rather than due to any real sense of duty.

4: Hunger Games
-With his dad and brother both being police, being from District 2 makes the most sense. Either current Tribute or recent Victor.
I'm down for training scenarios, in the arena, after the games (since we all know the kinds of things that happen when a Victor is pretty) and all the other stuff that might come up, it's a big sandbox to play in!

And with any of these I'm happy to do it in-meme or in journal/musebox PSL style!

belle is from a batb au novel from disney's twisted tales series.🌹 i have written up some info here. she isn't quite the NLOG "woman in STEM" from the live action iteration, but, having faced rejection in town due to her unusual family and upbringing, she can come across as a bit judgmental at times. ultimately, belle is a lonely soul, but needs to work on opening her heart up to others.

i'm looking for more fairytale interactions, especially those from canons flipped on their sides — once upon a time, fairytale aus or ocs, into the woods, and so on. belle in this story gets her hands dirty and experiences a great deal of fantasy trauma, so i'd also love to have more interactions with darker or more "adult" fantasy canons. outside of rp osmosis, i'm very canonblind to the asoiaf universe or belle's fellow frenchies in coe33, but i've greatly enjoyed all my previous canon interactions so far.

i'm always looking for gen adventures, fetch questing, and all that. there's a spell that must be broken in her village, after all.

for shipping, alongside hoping for a twisted tales canon beast, i'm very drawn to exploring the beauty and beast dynamic with other characters standing in for adam. belle has a lot of complicated feelings about settling down and fears sacrificing a part of herself for a traditional partnership. i'd love to play around with that and work with the dicotomy of belle rejecting tradition while also wishing for her fairytale romance. open to shipping with all genders! they just need good chemistry to sell me on it.

My pipedreams for cranky vampire grandpa:
1. Always looking for other VtM/WoD friends. Especially any M:tA since he's a Tremere and has heavy ties to the magic side of things as their origin was as mages of the Order of Hermes.

2. Things that push him out of his comfort zone. I love grumpy grandpa versus modern ages/technology, it really pisses him off and I love that for him.

3. On the flipside, anything from the 17th - 19th century is also adored. I don't get to write him in these periods enough.

4. Building on 2 I've really been craving anything that forces him to challenge his ideals and morals: things that make him question his beliefs and pillars he's relied on for centuries. Having to ghoul someone he cares about to keep them alive though he's sworn he will never do so due to his hangups regarding blood bonds and slavery, for example. I love moral dilemmas. Give me more of this.


I have no illusions about ever getting canonmates so cross-canon is just assumed.

- (NSFW, age gap) Stacy's Mom (Dad?) scenario where someone nominally in some kind of relationship with one of Igor's kids would rather get with her DILFy old man instead. Can be a modern setting like canon and they are just normally dating/engaged/friends, or the fantasy AU again and it's an arranged political marriage sort of thing. Age difference is inherent to the premise but I would prefer if everyone is young adults at minimum.

Monzun (Player God) ✾ Black & White ✾ OTA

Khazar, either of those with Lethys, romance, roleswap, things focused on their Creatures, whatever man

2) non-B&W specific, a character awakening Monzun, God of Storms in a distant future for whatever reason (thinks they're a demon for a summoning ritual? wants to steal their power? doesn't believe in the myths? etc) and has to deal with a god suddenly attaching themselves

3) Monzun finding another god (or other similar godlike being) after all the rest have been wiped out and being absolutely overjoyed, pestering yours and sharing their powers willingly. Could be genuinely friendly, could be easy to take advantage of...

Oswald Cobblepot / Penguin | GOTHAM/DC

Ok, so what I'm in the mood for changes regularly, but:

1) Angst, which may or may not lead into hurt/comfort. Someone Os cares about turning up or being found in terrible shape. Or, Os can be the wrecked party. I'm no stranger to writing horror, violence, e.t.c. I just want to be emotionally gutpunched, y'know? Canon/crossmedium folks preferred for this.

2) (NSFW) A scene wherein spanking is involved. That's all I got atm, lol. I've never written it before, and most of the city would agree that the 'Bratman' over here could use some manner of reality check. Could be something novel attempted or at least negotiated between Os and a trusted, much beloved partner. Or part of a kind of humiliation ritual between him and a not-so-loving person who is sick of his shit. Crosscanon and crossmedium welcome, although assumed CR is likely required of the Penguin Partner(TM). m/m preferred, buuuuut I might consider m/f depending on the pitch, who knows?

I have some AU ideas I would love to do. I prefer m/f for any of the shippy options. I'm cool with playing these things out in journals and museboxes. I'm also open to castmates, crosscanon, crossmedium and assumed cr for any of these ideas as well.

➜ HIDDEN FAMILY AU: Think MCU Hawkeye, how he kept his family a secret. I think Leon having a family that only a select few are aware of would be fun times. Especially if he has to introduce his family to newbies who are surprised by the revelation.
➜ RED AU: Basically the premise of the Red movies but with retired Leon and other spy/agent characters dealing with the government trying to silence them. Can be gen or shippy.
➜ MR AND MRS SMITH AU: Again similar premises to the movie. Either they are aware each other are opposing agents and don't care or they are completely unaware that the other is an agent/spy.
➜ SEARCH AND RESCUE AU: A similar premise to RE4 but he can know the person or they can be someone new to him. Can be gen or shippy.
➜ TRAPPED AU: Leon finds himself trapped in a facility of some sort and has to team up with an another character or characters to escape. Can be gen or shippy.
➜ SUPERNATURAL ELEMENTS AU: Basically Leon is supposed to be investigating bioweapons but it turns out to be real supernatural creatures. Vampires, werewolves, shifters, fae, demons, angels and so forth.
