Feel free to make your screen names as ridiculous or as serious as you'd like. No spaces or special characters, other than an underscore are allowed. (Just remember, if you want to change your username, you'll have to delete the account before setting up a new one.)

✔ You can create different rooms! For instance #HotTub (for those fun times in hot water!) #[fandom]Fans - to chat about your favorite fandom, etc. If you don't select a room in your top level, IRC will toss you into the #General chat space

✔ Even if you create your own room, it's still open to everyone who knows the name of that room. (There is no truly private chat in IRC.)
