1. just depressed.
Things are tough, you're feeling worn out, or whatever the case, you're depressed. You need help or someone else thinks you do anyway.
2. abandoned.
You were left behind by everyone you hold dear and now you're forced to see how well they've adjusted, how happy they all are while you're screaming inside.
3. sick.
Cold, flu, or something even worse, all you can do is lay back and let someone take care of you.

You're being broken up with and they won't reconsider... Damn.
6. separated.
For some reason, you've been separated from the other person for a long time.
7. kidnapped.
You've been held captive for how long now? Maybe they've been torturing you even, using your blood to write ransom notes, threatening to cut off fingers to send next, etc. Rescue is on the way though, right?
8. beaten up.
Just because someone didn't like you or maybe they wanted something you had, whatever the case is, you're coming home sporting some nasty wounds and bruises.
9. jealousy.
You just have this undeniable jealousy suddenly and you need to let it out.
10. cheated on.
This goes beyond just suspicion and you have full on proof of what your lover has done. How do you handle it?
This goes beyond just suspicion and you have full on proof of what your lover has done. How do you handle it?
11. apathetic.
You're not sad, you're not happy, you just... don't feel much anymore. The sparkle of life has gone right out of you and you're just going through the motions now.
12. addicted.
Drugs, alcohol, whatever your drug of choice is, you can't fight the draw and you can't draw yourself out of the hole, but the other person is going to try.
13. bad romance.
You know this isn't good for either of you, but you can't stop now.
14. fear.
Nightmares, the feeling someone is following you, etc. You can't shake the feeling.
15. insanity.
You're seeing things and hearing them, waking up only to realize you've done things you don't remember or you're in a place you weren't before. You're losing it and you don't know what to do.
16. guilt.
It's eating you up inside and you have to tell someone about it now. You want to be punished and you won't take no for an answer.
17. loss
You've lost something dear to you.
18. wild card.
Combine some options or make your own!

[ Being Spider-man has it's disadvantages. Very few, let's be honest, but they are there. Getting beat up beyond one's own ability to deal on a semi regular basis happens to be one of them. Peter is in just such a situation tonight. Why is it so many things have claws? It's like claws=evil. Okay, so knowing Crookshanks, Peter should have put together that claws=evil beforehand. Moving on...
Beat up. Wounded. Bleeding. Nothing of the good variety. Thankfully spandex and webbing are excellent temporary bandages. However, he's fairly certain he needs help, but not of the professional variety because the professional variety tend to want to blow his cover and Peter has learned (very quickly) that he can't be both Peter Parker and Spider-man to the world. It just doesn't work that way.
However, there's someone he thinks he can trust, someone that can both keep his secret and help out. He's currently clinging to the building outside her window right now. He knocks lightly, but almost desperately, on the window and hopes that she's home, hopes that she hears him and hurries because exhaustion, blood loss and pain are rapidly doing their thing. Clinging to the side of the building isn't something he's going to be able to do much longer. ]

The tap-tap at her window has her head whirling around, Crookshanks hopping off her lap and darting over to sit on her small window seat. Pushing her chair back, she slips her wand up her sleeve before she makes her way over and opens the curtains, eyes widening when she sees her friend clinging to the wall outside. For a moment she's simply stunned but, sure enough, quick reasoning takes over and she pushes open the window and urges him inside quickly. ]
Peter, what on earth are you - how did you - no, nevermind, let me just... [ He doesn't really know about her magic, though she imagines tonight is going to be a night of secrets, but she doesn't care. She wants to take care of him and patch him up before she bothers with bombarding him with questions; he's allowed a few minutes at least. ] Come on, get on the bed, I'm going to get Mum's first aid kid.

He manages to slip inside and leans against the wall as she questions him, holding one hand to his side. ]
I'm...kinda [ he pulls his hand away from his side. It's covered in blood. ] bloody.
[ He doesn't want to make a mess of her bedsheets. ]
no subject
Do you really think I care about my bedsheets right now? Honetly, Peter... [ She puts the First Aid kit down gently while her eyes flicker over what he's wearing, finally taking it in. She blinks, holding the antiseptic in silence before she speaks. ]
I should've known, really. You're so nimble and you always have so many bruises.
[ Sighing, now a little frustrated at the secret keeping, she urges him to settle so she can deal with his cuts. ]
no subject
And I thought I was hiding it well.
[ He says it with a bit of a smirk. The secret keeping is necessary, or so he thinks. He doesn't want her in more danger because of him. ]
no subject
You were. I think it's one of those things that you don't notice because it's right in front of your face.
[ She glances up, smiling softly. ]

Besides, nobody expects the science geek to be a superhero. Especially one that looks like he got beat up every other day at school.
[ Because he had at one time. He can't help but smile back at her a little goofy. He likes her smile. ]
no subject
You haven't been beaten up in months, Peter, probably because you look much stronger. And, anyway, aren't all the superheroes super geniuses too? That's what makes them so good at their job.
[ She glances up, offering him a soft smile. ]
And... Sometimes the best heroes come in the sweetest packages.
no subject
Oh, well fine, go ahead and stereotype me. [ He's teasing her, of course. He blushes at her compliment. ]
Uhm...thanks. That's--that's a real compliment, right? Not a...you're really sweet, but I don't--don't find you attractive in any way shape or form, right?
no subject
That's a real compliment, Peter, don't worry.
[ She doesn't really think he'd be at all interested in her, if she was being honest, but she appreciates it all the same. ]
I think you're looking a bit better now. Does anywhere else hurt?
no subject
He shakes his head at her question. She's flirting with him. Sort of. Of course nothing hurts. ]
No. I think--I think I'm probably okay. Th-thanks.
no subject
Are you going to tell me what happened?
/makes things up
There's been a rash of bank robberies lately. Always at night, always without any sign of who it might've been. I've been trying to track him down for a while. He--he was like me? [ sort of. He had super powers in any case. ] Which I sort of knew since the vault doors have been torn off. I caught him. Or he caught me following him.
[ Obviously, it hadn't gone exactly as Peter had planned. ]
He got away, but I think I'll get him next time.
perfect tho
The point is that she cares about him and wants to protect him. ]
Isn't there anyone you can ask for help from? Someone that can help you - not get hurt?
Re: perfect tho
[ Yes, well, Hermione understands that sometimes the right thing isn't always the easy thing. Someone has to help and he's capable when many of the city's residents aren't.
He does understand her point and he even appreciates it. He shakes his head at her question, turning to look at her, but not sitting up.]
Too many people would get hurt if I let someone help. [ His grin is goofy, a little crooked, pleased that she cares. ] I'll heal.
