Face it: you aren't getting out of this pickle unscathed. How you got here, the specifics, don't matter. All that counts is that you're at the end of your rope. Kiss your butt goodbye!
Except someone just happens to step in at the nick of time. You're saved! Hallelujah! Uh, they are here to help...
...probably.

[[I've been summoned by O Brother Where Art Thou (2000). Joe has a decent amount of exposure to high stress situations, although he prefers to be far away from them. Honk if you love gangsters and doing gangster shit.]]
[[Luka has lengthy exposure to combat, emergency, natural disaster and other high stress situations. He is also often their instigator. Honk if you want a big hunky vampire to help or hurt navigate a damned tight spot.]]
"I dunno what ya did ta piss him off but Vox is pissed, so just lay low here an' I'll let ya out when he's on a different floor, okay?"
Locking Alastor in a supply closet isn't the most dignified way to hide him, but the TV Lord has eyes everywhere in this fucking tower and it's their best option right now.
Abominable idea, to fight Vox in closed quarters, where there's not much room to maneuver out of the way, but Alastor had been testing a theory. An expensive theory, it turns out!
His ears are up high and prey-like, listening not only to Angel Dust's instructions, but for the telltale crackle of electricity, a hum, the slightest footstep. Nothing just yet.
Alastor slides to a sitting position, relieved grin glowing quietly in the dark like the vacuum tubes of a radio. Got away with it.
"I owe you for this one, my good man. Considerably."
"I'd say don't worry about it, but I'd be Hell's biggest idiot not ta bank a favor from the Radio Demon," Angel scoffs.
And, honestly, he could use all the help he can get at the moment. Besides, if he doesn't take advantage of Alastor's gratitude for himself, he can certainly use it to grant Husk a reprieve next time the Overlord has a task for him that he doesn't want to do.
Helping the Radio Demon was as much about keeping him safe as it was about fucking Vox over - anything to make that flat faced snake-oil salesman's afterlife more difficult is something worth doing in Angel's book.
The spider Sinner leaves Alastor where he is for a few moments and heads out into the corridor, but it seems as though the coast is clear. For now, anyway. He returns to Al and lets him back out of the closet.
"What is the beef with you two? I've known that asshole fer years an' I ain't never seen no one get under his skin like you do."
[Very much voice testing. Open to canonmates, similar crosscanon and OCs, AUs, assumed CR, first meetings, etc. I like to 'yes and.'
Default canon point post RE6, around Death Island. Can go earier on request. For later stuff... I'm familiar with 7, but not (enough with) 8 or 9. Sorry, I'm behind.
Happy to chat out a set up or fly by the seat of our pants. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ ]
[OOC: Let me know if this doesn't work, I can edit!]
Their eyes meet across the bar. There is a guy at her side that wasn't there a few minutes ago and he's too close, too intent. Jill's face is tight in that too-controlled way. The bottle in her hand is looking too much like a weapon, grip shifting and knuckles whitening.
Chris has a minute, maybe two, before she starts swinging.
[Bare bones about her: sarcastic seer with a knack for finding trouble, or having trouble find her. More in-depth information about her is here. Can easily AU her into just about anywhere. She has a knack for being in the right place at the right time (because seer), but the roles could easily be reversed. M/F for anything shippy.]
