Witches have been charged with utilizing their rare gift for the betterment of others, and while some take this duty seriously, others utilize it for their own ends. If you ever wished to bring a character to this vibrant world (have one who is already a resident), your time is now!

ROLES

WITCH (Pointed Hat)
Whether born to the life or brought in under rare special circumstance, you are studied in the art of drawing magic, currently following the laws laid down on the Day of the Pact. You keep knowledge of magic from Outsiders, and shun the use of Forbidden Magics, all the while utilizing your skills to better others one way or another…

WITCH (Brimmed Cap)
Since the Day of the Pact certain magics have been forbidden, including any that directly impact the body or large portions of the environment. Whether simply a rogue user of illegal magic or one committing offenses with intent, you are reviled in witch society. Outsiders, however, may not know the difference…

THE UNKNOWING / OUTSIDERS
The vast majority of the population does not use magic, and are unaware that such a thing could even be possible. Most, however, benefit from the devices and services of Witches, and offer their own in return. Healers especially find their skills needed by witches, especially as the Pointed Caps are forbidden from learning medicine…

OTHER
Are you a creature? A victim of old forbidden magics? A witch whose memory was erased? The world is wide and mysterious, and so much more is possible than anyone knows…

Akechi now believes he's a Pointed Hat rather than a Brimmed Hat, and he doesn't remember much of anything. He's pleasant and friendly, and he gets the sense he's forgetting something important. He's currently traveling in an attempt to find anyone that knows him and what he might be forgetting.)
