[It's usually Superman who answers calls for help outside Metropolis, whether it would be in a different state or heck, a different part of the world. Supergirl, in comparison, has only started "branching out", as it were. She was just finished thwarting a bank robbery downtown, and was just flying around surveying the city to see if there was anything or anyone who may need help before she heads back to California. Her super vision did spot someone on the roof of what seems to be a hospital. She squints to focus and the Kryptonian immediately was on high alert upon seeing it was a doctor, speeding towards him before anything could happen.
Once she was close enough, Supergirl slows down to a gentle float, giving herself a respectable distance from the man. Close enough to be able to talk to him, but far enough to give him some space (and not to startle him).]
Good evening, Doctor. [She starts,] Enjoying the breeze?
"Just so happens I've got a selection of that as well, you prefer bagged or loose-leaf?" A pause, sorting through the cabinet, "Looks like I've got a couple blooms left, too, those are always fun, I'd have to grab the glass teapot though or there's no point." Not that it was a problem, it was in the same cabinet, she'd just have to drag a chair over to reach it.
"And you're just in time to help me get through the results of Ms. McGee's annual spring baking jag. Which comes a couple months before the tomatoes and zucchini appearing on everyone's front porch in the dead of night." She checked containers on the counter, "We've got lemon bars with lavender, apricot and raspberry thumbprints and pretty sure these are regular chocolate chip cookies, but they might have fudge centers."

"This is your arm." It wasn't a question, but a nearly-flat statement, not fully flat, there was some kind of wry amusement around the edges as she did, in fact, take the offered arm. The young woman who had made the statement was maybe five-foot-two, though the pouf of curls spilling out from under her hat -one that seemed designed just to keep them out of her face and nothing else- added a little height.
While her tone was flat-but-amused, her accent was very deliberately French, not in a way that made it sound put-on, but rather in a way that made it sound like she was used to making herself clear despite it. Her dress was maybe a season out of date, certainly not current high fashion, but not yet old enough to mark it as having been handed down. She was also wearing a pair of double-D style carriage glasses, a style that covered her eyes both from the front and from the temples, the lenses themselves a dark blue, nearly purple.
One elegant brow arched, that amusement rising just a little as she added, "But if I cannot ask questions, nor can you, fair?" Which she knew was a question, but she knew a baseline needed to be established.
