[ Sunday doesn't mean to fall asleep, of course.

He only means to take a short break. To rest his eyes while he waits for the caffeine and sugar to kick in from the elaborate colorful concoction he purchased from a nearby coffee stand. He still has so much he needs to get done - the Research Society of Happy Smiles has a gathering he wishes to infiltrate in two and a half hours, and before then he really should follow up on another lead or at the very least take the time to organize his notes.

But the voices are so loud today (they've never really stopped; he's just gotten used to them - it's just that there's always a peak of liveliness around lunch time), and he's so tired... And Madam Yao, who turned up out of nowhere as she so often does while he was waiting in line, now sits beside him on this bench, watching the crowds and thinking about something or other mundane enough to wash right over him.

And so before he knows it, Sunday's normally impeccable posture falters. His headwings droop, and he starts to slump; his eyelids flutter shut. The first nod, he jerks back to wakefulness, mumbling an apology, and it seems for a moment like he might rouse himself but it doesn't last, and soon enough, his head falls against Yao Guang's shoulder. Sunday is out cold.

Hopefully she doesn't find his feathers too ticklish? ]
