THE MANHANDLING MEME

A ~~blatant ripoff of~~ respectful homage to this.

Sometimes you just crave a gentle, loving touch...
and sometimes, you want to shake someone til the change flies out of their pockets.

Get ready for your character to be pushed around!

Reply to other characters, RNG, and:

Drag them by the arm; hopefully no square dancing will ensue, because this isn't the wanton cruelty meme.

Grab them by the front of their shirt, possibly shoving them back. Also optional: shouting in their face.

Take them by the hips to carefully move them out of your way.

Smack them upside the head and deal with the repercussions.

Grip them by the back of the neck like a reenactment of a cat with kittens.

Put a hand on their back to steer them somewhere.

Point sternly at a chair (adverb negotiable) and tell them to sit down.

Push them back down when they try to get out of bed (perhaps involving illness, injury, or sleep deprivation).

Press a finger to their lips to shut them up.

Put a hand on their knee while sitting next to them, to discourage them from standing up.

Slap their hand away from something they shouldn't touch.

Grab their hair (or tie, or whatever) and yank.

Slam a door shut before they can leave the room. Alternatively: IN THEIR FACE.

Physically pick them up and carry them.

Grip their jaw to force eye contact.

Pin them with their arms behind their back, like you're the next Bruce Willis.

Slam them into a wall. Ouch.

Wrestle/pin them to the ground like this is WWE.

Trip them, because you are literally or figuratively seven years old.

Engage in an elaborate, overly aggressive, or perhaps secret handshake.

WILDCARD, if you think you can get wilder than a secret handshake.
