That small box she'd given him during his time in England - an attempt at a souvenir since he didn't plan to seek any - she wished she could have done better. A very small chunk of cobblestone that she'd noticed was loose during the walking tour, and a bottle of sample perfume that she'd been given and never used: it had the scent of lilies as its main fragrance.

She wanted him to have some little keepsake that wasn't visual, and at least she knew he liked the scent of lilies, so maybe he'd find a use for it? Even if it was a bathroom spray or just to freshen up his living room.

Several months later, well after learning of his dual life, she sends him something wrapped in many layers of tissue paper within a mailing envelope.

He gets a voice text on the day it arrives, clearly from Molly, stating "Listen to this when you get what I sent you."

"Hi! Hopefully I haven't fucked up the timing of this. Spending more time with my mum lately. I resented flowers for a really long time because of her work; so many people seem to just treat flowers like a social bandage when they fuck up, and that never sat right with me. Anyway, all that to say - I made this for you. I'm not an artist. But Mum kept talking my ear off about floriography and symbolism and I guess something stuck.

Don't tell me that didn't have to - I already know that. I did it anyway.

P.S. The Bible was already damaged before I did anything to it. Just for the record!"

A miniature pocket Bible but slight cuttings have been made to house thinly pressed flowers. The blooms are mounted on one page, while the other has braille text explanations.
