Usagi was exhausted. Joining Yang in her journeys was fun yet dangerous. It was also exhausting. Another fight with a group of Grimm had taken a lot out of her.

“So many of them. Didn’t think we’d get all of them.” She grumbled as she sat down beside Yang and yawned. “We did… go us…!”

Ultimately, she leaned onto the blonde and started to doze off, the special uniform she wore shifting into ribbons around her body.

Pyrrha wasn't somebody you would initially expect to get sent to hell. She was helpful to others, self-sacrificing and generally not the worst display of humanity that typically ended up here.

Her sin, such as she saw it anyway, was sloth. She had an option between sacrificing herself for others, potentially losing who she was, or refusing that call. She stalled, until the choice was taken from her.

It broke her up inside. Finding herself in Hell after the subsequent battle, the only decision she found herself making was going to the hotel. It seemed like the safest place, maybe one where she could do some good.

As she detailed her life to Charlie, the dam broke, she started crying, and didn't stop. She was already burnt out when alive, and this hadn't helped her mental fatigue any. Eventually, she fell asleep crying against Charlie's shoulder, still lightly clinging to her.

[ He didn’t mean to do it, normally Ilya lets himself linger in bed for a few minutes, then he rolls out of bed and heads back to his hotel for the night. But the game they had yesterday was brutal, and Ilya played for more minutes than usual, and took a solid hit from the defensive line midway through the second period.

All that is to say, Ilya is exhausted, and so once he returns from his shower to rejoin Shane on the bed, he just sort of- stays, and nods off with his cheek pressed to Shane’s shoulder, dozing peacefully. ]
