[It's been two weeks since he spent that first night at Toya's apartment and honestly, Keigo is fucking stressed. He's missed more class in the past two weeks than he'd like to admit, and he was late to practice on Wednesday because Toya had cornered him at the café and bullied him into the bathroom after his shift ended.

He'd thought giving Toya control over all of his orgasms would be hard but in all honesty he's more sated now than he's ever been in his life. It's a problem. He's gonna get in trouble if he doesn't buckle down.

Now it's Friday and he's just locking up the café for the night and he's tired. He's got enough time to go change and still make it to the others before the trains stop, but he knows if he does he'll be there all weekend. He stares at his phone and sighs.

It had been another grueling shift, which is why he was on the roof watching the sunrise; he hadn't climbed over the railing this time, which was growth or just a sign that it hadn't been as bad as other shifts in the ED.

Someone had gotten territorial over a partner, and it had gotten ugly; it wasn't the first time something like that had rolled into the ED. The person's face had been mangled. They wouldn't be the same; no one was after an injury like that, he knew from experience.

Cori had loved him through, loved him until he got his groove back, loved him to the point of feeling whole again, then she died, a drunk driver. Had he gotten possessive from time to time, sure, it was in his nature, but never to the point of hurting her or someone else.

Nights like tonight are why shifters and werecreatures have a bad name.

He leans against the railing, focusing on his breathing, wanting to shift and run, but he hasn't let himself do that in a long time. Even when he could feel the mountain lion pawing at him, he knew it wasn't healthy, but he wasn't sure he could handle it.
