If Sam was alive to this crap he'd be laughing his ass off. Only Dean Winchester can get a girl pregnant during the zombie apocalypse. Sam's dead though and that's something Dean doesn't talk about with anyone. He spoke about it once with Maggie, but that was it. There was no absolutely need to hash out that crap again. It happened and he was content to move on. Maybe he had a death wish a while back, but that's long since passed. It's not like he's over it entirely, but he's better off storing it in a little box and leaving it be until he can't stand it any longer. That's pretty much the only way the Winchester's know how to be in these situations. They don't deal and they keep moving forward. Eventually it'll catch up to Dean, but right now it's not.

The prison's quiet today. Can't even hear the baby crying. He's avoiding Hershel like the plague and the looks Beth can give would kill Dean if that was possible. It's not like he's ducking out on the responsibility, but he's getting nervous. You can see it in his eyes. Dean would be a shitty father under the best circumstances. The world has gone to hell and he's supposed to just know what the hell he's doing? How the hell do you raise a kid with this much crap circulating? He doesn't even know how Rick does it. Then again the guy did have a mental breakdown and go wandering off into the fields. Dean's not about to do that. He's not that nuts.

He moves inside the cell finally and crosses his arms over his chest. "You need anything?" He's trying his best to be decent, but dammit this is hard. He's not father material. He's the guy you have dirty sex with and don't call. "You look nice." Because he's pretty sure the fact that he didn't show up in their cell last night is kinda gonna get him in trouble.

[ This was a rather daunting and a bit strange experience for her, six months in –or at least according to the medical opinion, and she still hadn’t completely gotten used to it and she was still a bit torn, not that she didn’t cared for the being growing within her but there was a lot of things in her mind and what she was supposed to do later.

Petra looked down at her middle area, one that had expanded (though not as much as she had seen in other women) to accommodate the child within and she sighed. The other downside of her current condition was that she wasn’t allowed to do any work, everyone was like hovering over her and there was even a bit of a fit when she did simple things like brewing coffee, she was pregnant not completely useless.

She was in the middle of those thoughts when she felt something, she blinked and focused on that –it had felt like a little flutter or something and just when she started to think it was her imagination, she felt it again more insistent against her womb. Her hands moved to her stomach and she felt it again. ]

He considered himself a good friend as well and good friends were supportive, even when your male friend suffered from mood swings and weird food cravings - but he had tracked down the Nepalese candied frog eyes in the end!

Now, however, Regulus found himself stumped. He peered at Severus over the rim of his cup, frowned and went back to sipping his tea as primly as if he were sitting in Malfoy Manor's second-best drawing room and not in dingy Spinner's End. He swallowed the tea, lowered the cup, picked it up again a moment later and the process repeated itself.

Gilberte had begun to suspect something was wrong about a month after she'd left Pandora on an assignment, but naturally, ignored it. She was busy, after all, her hands full with the investigation (and, of course, wrangling Oz and Alice, which could be a task in itself) and so she kept working. Perhaps she was only coming down with something, and if so, it should resolve itself.

After two months realization and worry was creeping up on her, growing stronger and stronger day by day. But after chasing the illegal contractor they were hunting through three different towns their search was almost over, and she couldn't just leave. No matter what else, Gilberte still had a job to do. And... well, she could be wrong. It wasn't as though she had experience with this kind of thing.

By the time the cleanup was finished, the assignment complete, and they had returned to Reveille, it had been nearly three months and Gilberte's level of worry was rising, almost reaching panic. Oz had asked several times if she was feeling all right, which naturally she had brushed off without giving a straight answer, but clearly it was becoming apparent to other people. Some of her clothing was starting to become uncomfortable, as well, and she knew she wouldn't be able to hide it for long.

But... what should she do? What could she do?

Naturally, Vincent had been away when they'd returned, but was supposed to be on his way back. Any day now, she'd been told, but hadn't dared press for more information lest she rouse suspicion, and so has taken to lurking in her quarters, pacing and brooding while she isn't burying herself in work, doing her best not to think about... that.

[ shouichi tried his best to be a good friend, so if that meant looking after maya for a few days he couldn't really hesitate to answer. certainly, there was a sort of lingering paranoia that he would do something wrong and upset her in her current condition, but this was maya amano. she was both cheerful and direct; she'd lead him back to where he needed to be if he somehow went astray. in fact, shouichi was counting on her to. he didn't realize he'd be this... flustered.
