What's the story behind your name?

It's a diminutive for "blackbird" in Irish. My mother was on bedrest for most of the time she was pregnant with me, and evidently there was this blackbird that visited her all throughout. She claimed she knew it was the same one because it had blue eyes all throughout. I'm pretty sure she just mis-identified some other bird, but when I was born with blue eyes that pretty much sealed the deal.
