[ (Not familiar with BCS) - He's probably on a first name basis with at least two of the servers. He's on his second coffee, reading glasses perched on his nose while he alternates between making his way through a newspaper, and a plate of sausage, bacon, eggs and hashbrowns. ]

[ Morbius was still a little damp, his hair drying in chaotic waves. Not from the drizzle outside of the Denny's, no. He fell in the river again. Sitting there nursing his coffee with a vanilla crepe meal before him being slowly picked at.

Just another wonderful 3am in New York City.]

[ She looks exhausted in a way that coffee will only barely touch, and yet, her second cup is half empty while she examines the case file spread out on the table in front of her. ]

[ settled in a booth with good line of sight to the front door and kitchen, quietly reading a local paper. there is a large plate of pancakes and bacon in front of her, which she seems to be consuming at a normal pace. every so often, a waiter will wander past and refill her coffee. ]

[If you’re wondering why there’s a horse parked outside of a Denny’s, just look to you’re right. Her rider is the guy with the green lipstick, who is standing there wondering if he can feed her a pancake.]

I don’t think the she’ll mind the bananas…

The revving intensifies and echoes off dark city buildings as some douchebag drag racer tears through the streets. As it approaches, it starts to sound a lot more like... hoofbeats?

A second totally normal and Historically Accurate horse pulls into the parking lot, bearing a guy too cool for handlebars. At least he has a helmet. ~~speaking of bananas~~

He looks Gyro's horse over as his own slows to pull in next to it. About time this place put in a place to park live animals. ]

[Che cavolo?! What the hell is that?! Searching for the origins of the sound, Gyro is stunned upon revelation to see it’s a horse. Not just any horse, but a horse with an engine at its rear.

He stares at the horse for a long time before glancing at the rider. This guy's armor is so strange. Gyro had never seen anything like it. He's so captivated that he almost misses the comment.]

Valkyrie is an Australian stock horse, she’s real good with livestock but horses like her are known for their durability and endurance.

[No amount of hunger could possibly compel him to eat at any establishment with laminated menus and condiment caddies as every table, which is why Hannibal is perched at the edge of a booth nursing a glass of tepid water, expression schooled into a mask of passive indifference. (Cracking at the seams as a passing server inadvertently wafts a burger under his nose.)

[ a broad shouldered blond slips into the booth across from the doctor, deliberately inelegant in the way he tosses himself onto the cheap pleather. artfully tousled beach waves, streaks of glitter down his face smeared with sooty mascara stains under the dark sunglasses he's wearing inside at night for some reason; not subtle at all to his occupation, if the scent of cigarette smoke and too sweet alcohol on his person wasn't obvious enough.

the wait staff seem to be in a titter, talking quietly to themselves in small pairs behind the counter. lestat for his part, doesn't pay them any mind. instead setting his elbows on the sticky tabletop and leaning forward, sunglasses lowering to reveal piercing pale blue eyes alight with some veiled mania. ]

You must be hungry, doctor.

[ lestat looks ravenous himself, seemingly delighted at the surprise he has stumbled upon - the very doctor he had been reluctantly prescribed. shame there's nothing on the menu here to sate their particular appetites. ]

[ Could be he's on his sabbatical and this is a random Denny's he's stopped in, trying to find something that is mostly kosher.

For Pitt canon characters, he's on his sabbatical but has called someone to come sit with him through the dark times.

There will always be coffee though. He's always going to have coffee. ]

[Either he's traveled forward in time and found himself in a Denny's ... or someone else has traveled to late 1700s France and found themselves in a tavern with the same atmosphere as a Denny's. Taggers choice! Juste has a drink and some random half eaten sandwich in front of him. The drink has clearly taken precedence over the meal.]

[ Likely fresh off a job and hungry enough to- well. Be here. At least her book's good though; that's what has the majority of her attention, with the rest of it alternating between keeping an eye on who's coming and going, and her plate. ]

[A blind man in a not-so-terrible dark grey suit sits in a back booth nursing a cup of coffee. There's a fresh bruise on his jaw and a trickle of blood on his lip that leaves a mark on the porcelain cup. Bad night.

[ The joys of jetlag and pickiness with food equals Erin in a booth, reading through her notes from the day whilst gradually making her way through a small stack of pancakes and a heinously sweet coffee. She looks tired, but that doesn't seem to be unusual for her. ]
