I'd do the same for my little sister, if it ever came to it. And I do some very stupid, contradictory things because of how much I want her to grow, and the nature of my love for her. And the way I love my friends, too...It all sounds rather silly, competing against people whose success you wish for. Just like 'dying for someone you want to spend your life with' does.
