[ Black, practical backpack? Open. The rummaging and removing commences, each item getting taken out and put aside as it's named. ]

Well first off, headphones - over ear, noise cancelling, absolutely essential when I'm flying. Wallet and keys, obviously, book, hand sanitizer and disposable N95's, work pass, notebook and pen. My laptop's usually in here too, and it's charger - water bottle, phone charger and spare, roll-up raincoat, and...- oh, a pack of gum, apparently.

[ A stick of it is popped into her mouth before she carries on. ]

And in the middle section, [ because of course she uses the whole bag, ] this is generally for things I use less often but still like to have just in case. So like - my travel first aid kit, disposable gloves, a few of these [ A handful of granola/protein/general snack bars and packets of nuts et al. If any fall on the floor, no they didn't. ]

Uh- oh, and a bag for toiletries and things like that. Hair ties, sanitary products, deodorant, painkillers, wipes, that kind of thing.

[ A beat while she checks the side pockets, more out of curiosity than much else. She finds more gum.

After another beat, she offers the open end of the packet. ]

[ Okay, he's definitely taking notice of the weird shit she has in her bag, but he's also kind of assuming it's simply some... odd shaped Apple product or something he's just unaware of. For all of the time (and money) he spends on dressing himself fashionably, most of that corporate captain's salary is just put toward savings or hobby supplies. An outing like this—staying a little while in Hawai'i after a flight there—is unusual for him, and not something he'd do if he didn't have a friend on the island.

And, it being unusual for him: ]

[Well, it's a duffel he just brought on a hunt for something not 100% certain, so it contains a little bit of everything. You know, the usual: silver blade, machete, flask of holy water, ridiculously oversized containers of both salt and lighter fluid, amulets, bits and pieces of dried plants and powders, a flare gun, a regular gun, different kinds of ammunition, chalk, a jar that looks suspiciously like some kind of blood, a bloodied stake (not for that, you amateur!)... things like that. There's also an old journal that you better not fucking touch, and a book with library tags from somewhere definitely not around here that is about Greek mythology for some reason.
Emptying his jacket pockets and what else is on his person yields another gun and knife, a lighter, two phones, a money clip, credit cards with various names, and all kinds of reasonably convincing looking ID and badges. Or... they might look convincing if they didn't have various names, too - all with his face on them.
