[It isn't an unusual thing for there to be a celebratory fest. Except there hasn't been one since King Viseys died. It felt inappropriate to most, not that Aemond cared much. It is merely his priority at these events to be seen, and to leave as early as possible.

Aegon's coronation warrants something, especially a reason for the Greens to show they stand united to the other Houses. The affair is tastefully modest, but not of any less importance. Once the actual feasting is complete, it is time for the social buzz of conversation and the sounds of music to dance to. He smiles only very briefly when his niece and nephew take to the floor for a rehearsed moment before heading off to bed.

The rest of the evening begins to bore him. He nurses his wine, sitting off to the side of the table, in view but not overly so. Chances are he'll make his move to leave at any moment, as soon as his mother becomes distracted.]

[His mother does become distracted but sadly not in a way that would benefit him, in fact she stops in mid-conversation, her breath catching in her throat as a woman in long white gown approaches their table. It's not the gown that gives her pause, it's very lovely but far from the nicest one at the feast. No, what makes her stop is the woman's icy white hair and the confident way in which she approaches the table and for a split second she is reminded of Rhaenyra.

But then the stranger smiles and the similarity is gone, this woman has a warm, inviting smile and she drops down low in a curtsy.]
