The (possibly AU) Sibling Incest Meme

Incest is, despite its taboo nature in most societies, actually a pretty popular convention in both romantic fiction and works of a more erotic bent, in everything from period or fantasy pieces to series taking place in places like modern day Japan. Still, the most common configuration in these fictions are the pairing of siblings. Perhaps this is because of the usual lack of age difference and power dynamic that exists in child/adult relative pairings, though this is not always the case. Because of this, a sexual or romantic relationship between siblings can almost seem, well, romantic in the right light. Of course, more often than not, there's a dark side under the veneer of forbidden love.

This meme is for those who would like to play out that, either the darkness or the light - or both.

[AUifying Zack here for a modern day AU: Zack as Warren's older brother, left to become a special forces soldier and either he's back home while on break for the first time or he's on break for the first time and the two are being made to share a hotel room on a family trip? With Zack dealing with weird new feelings for the first time after not seeing Warren for years, and Warren either dealing with similar weird new feelings or has been dealing with those feelings a lot longer, whichever you prefer.]

I was gonna go with the shared hotel room but I'm kind of into the idea of Warren sneaking into Zack's room at night at home instead? And maybe sharing memories of when they were younger, Zack sticking up for him when he was bullied, comforting him when their parents lectured him anytime he didn't make a Perfect Grade (because he's the Science Prodigy and they're strict like that). I guess I'm thinking of like. Warren sees him as his hero and also his oasis? He probably worried about him a lot while he was gone too, being a soldier.]

It feels like it's been a small eternity since he last saw Zach, though part of that is probably all the worrying he did while he was gone. There was just something mildly terrifying to him about his big brother being a soldier, far away from home.

But it's Zach's first night back in their childhood home, and Warren is sneaking out of his bedroom and across the hall to Zach's, the path so familiar since he used to do this all the time when they were younger. Socks silent on the carpet, heart beating faster in a way it didn't used to when he thought of being near to Zach (that had only developed with puberty), he turns the knob on his door, hoping Zach hasn't locked it. A whisper as he does so.

"Are you still awake?"

Being back home has been ... confusing. Zack's barely had a chance to see Warren, to be honest, everyone's wanted to talk to him, but it's -- weird. His baby brother's turned into a man while he's been away. One that makes Zack feel odd when he looks at him.

He's sprawled on his bed when he hears the knob turning, but quickly puts his book away, swinging to his feet.

"I'm awake. Come on in."

Awake, but barely dressed. Zack's basically just got a pair of boxer-briefs on, low-slung enough to show the trail of hair leading downwards, tight enough to leave no doubt as to the size and girth of what they're leading to. But Warren's his brother, right? No need to feel awkward.

To say he's not expecting Zach to be that undressed would be an understatement. And fuck, if he wasn't certain about his feelings before, he is now. Attraction super confirmed. And walking into his bedroom and softly closing the door behind him is probably a terrible idea, in the grand scheme of things. But that's exactly what he's doing.

Warren's pajamas are a lot less... form-fitting. (Which is a good thing, since looking at Zach, gaze trailing down subconsciously to the bulge of his dick in his briefs, is making him a little hard.) White t-shirt, Star Trek insignia boxers... His attire is so not as sexy. Now he's kinda wishing he tried for that, but he's not sure he even owns anything that would make him look as good as Zach right now.

Feeling magnetized to his older brother now that they're alone in a room together, Warren goes to hug him. They didn't shy too much from physical affection growing up, so in a way it feels natural. In another way it feels very not.

"I missed you."

So help him, as soon as Warren hugs him, Zack's pulling him in close. It's a bad idea, really: His bulge pressed against Warren's stomach, Warren's against his leg, and that's enough on its own to make Zack's dick twitch. But damn everything, this is his brother.

Zack curls one arm around Warren's waist, the other around his shoulders, pressing a kiss to the top of his head.

"I've missed you too, kiddo," he murmurs into Warren's hair. "Look at you, you've grown up so much. You actually have muscles now. A little." He cracks a grin at that, pressing another kiss to Warren's temple.
