Corrupted

There may be a part of all of us that is both drawn towards perfection and slightly unnerved by it. A straight line of items is appealing, yet we could feel more at ease if one thing was to the side just so. If things are already ruined, we don't have to worry about doing it ourselves. But, still, there exists at the core of a good deal of us some kind of primal urge that is very simple: destroy what's perfect. Make it flawed, like us.

This meme takes this dark and fairly insignificant desire and twists it to new extremes, combining it with that other age old dichotomy of virgin/whore. Characters will want to corrupt another character, whether the latter is innocent or stoic and put together. They want to see them turned depraved, into a slut --- yet only addicted and loyal to them.

One concept that is different than other memes, however, is that the character doing the corrupting does not have to be flat out mustache twirling evil. Anyone can want to be the corrupter, from the sweetest to the most rotten, because there are tons of varying interpretations of why they'd want to do it: as a kink, perhaps a mutual one with their lover, just to see if this so-called "perfect" person really is, out of genuine adoration, or even hoping. Of course, they could also just want to watch the world burn...and be mustache twirling evil.

RULES

This meme is going to play somewhat into sluttification kinks, so obviously there's a problematic element here. All aspects of that kink IE dirty talk, humiliation, sexy clothing, loving depravation, etc, are welcome, but how straight or how far you take it is up to you. Disclaimer that nobody here believes in this shit, it's all kink, so on so forth.
Comment with your character, preferences, and what role they're likely to play. I don't want to see this meme filled with pillow queening, though, so try to be flexible and proactive.

For Teaching: They want to be more worldly. Things are taken far, far into the opposite direction.
For Their Own Good: It would be better for them if they were more open. Much more open.
For Fetish: You get off to this. Maybe they do, too?
For Spite: You want to ruin their life. Nothing more, nothing less.
For Benefit: More than a lover, you want a right hand man. A henchman. A Harley Quinn, if you will.
Because You Can: You just like to fuck with people, and what better way to do it than this?

So depending on how much you do or don’t want his powers to be influencing things, and whether you prefer it being vaguely ok the background or Damien being more obvious about it… the boy could lowkey just want Gary to stay around?

I try to always write enough description that you can still kind of have him notice maybe he’s not sure this is his own choice??? Or even little bits that let you play kinda fast & loose with how deep the compulsion goes, how aware of his own choices he actually is in specific a moment. A lot easier at this canon point for me to let things just veer off bc he doesn’t have the level of control he’ll pretend he has oops >_> ]

Some part of Damien knows it’s wrong, knows how unfair it is that he hasn’t just… let Gary realize he doesn’t want to be here. But he’s been trapped alone in a car and sleeping in hotels since he left LA. He misses Neon and Indah. Even Marley. But he’ll never find them agreeable to seeing him again. Not as long as they remember him, and what he’d done.

It’s this deep-rooted loneliness that drives his choices and right now, unfortunately for this guy who never asked for any of this? This means Gary has been with Damien for a week or two now. The routine, as much as there even is one, is mostly: Sleep late as he wants, breakfast, deciding what to do for the day.

Gary is never too far from him for long. Damien doesn’t want to give him enough of a chance to realize… he isn’t the one choosing to stay here. As long as he thinks it’s his choice, his decision, who cares about the rest? He doesn’t control everything, constantly. He would be exhausted if he did, but Damien is content with letting things play out just as long as it always ends with Gary coming back at the end of the day.

The bonus of traveling with Damien is… there’s no need for pesky things like a license or ID, a car, money… he stays in the best rooms available at any given hotel with a little insistence to the guy at the front desk and they’ve got a room for the night. The week. However long it feels right to stay there.

“What should we do today?” Damien asks, sinking into the couch in what doubles as the living room in the hotel room he’d grabbed for them a few days ago. Not quite the penthouse in LA, but still hella nice and not the kind of thing some punk 19yr old kid should be able to afford.

“The world is our oyster,” he says with a dramatic flair and spreading his hands in a wide shrug. Gary has seen proof and evidence enough of how easily Damien can get things, by now— tough power not to abuse, honestly. Anything they want, at any whim whatsoever.

Gary's always been a bit of a rebel. Not for any sort of productive purpose, he just doesn't like being told what to do and thinks the best way to react to authority figures is by flipping them off and spitting on them. So there's some part of him that pushes back against this, although he's never alone long enough for it to amount to anything.

And there's another, stronger part of him that acted out like that because he wanted attention and it was the one reliable way to get it until it became part of his core identity. Now he has attention. He has a friend.

And that's what he's always wanted, even if there were a couple things here and there he might not have wanted on his own. Friends compromise, right? It beats being alone. And it's hard to find anything to complain about when he's living better than he ever has before. Before he met Damien he was hitchhiking, scrounging up pennies, walking miles a day with holes in his shoes. Now he's in nice hotels and he can have steak and caviar every night if he wants to.

"Fuck. What'd we do yesterday?" he says, glancing at an empty bottle of wine as he stretches out. That would explain the memory lapse. Oh well. The days all kind of run together for these last few weeks anyway. Not that he minds.

"Could go to the mall, I guess. Or maybe there's a concert, or a game," he says, "I dunno. What d'you wanna do?"

He's not saying that because he has to. When he's not acting out for attention, he falls into the follower role pretty easily.

They’re kind of a perfect storm, the pair of them. Both too damn lonely to really want anything else, as long as it feels as good as whatever’s happening right now. Damien prefers holding the reins in any scenario, whenever possible, the fact that Gary really doesn’t seem to mind letting him steer is just another bonus, and he’s not sure if that’s him, or Gary. Sometimes they overlap in ways that makes it hard to tell.

“It’s all just one really long day, right? Gets hard to tell apart sometimes,” he laughs softly. He pulls out his phone to bring up a map and see what’s close by. “…too early to go right now, but have you ever been to a club?” Ideas full of bad decisions are already spinning in his head, and he doesn’t even think about how one of them might try to stick.

He doesn’t do it much or often, because for the most part, Damien doesn’t actually enjoy the feeling of being so… out of control of himself when he drinks. His wants get more…reckless and desperate when he isn’t paying attention, and just lets every single thing he wants sink into the people around him. But something tells him it might be fun this time.
