How do you get people to like you?

Slowly. First you have to know some people will never like you, and that's okay. It's better that way, then you can find the ones who do for your real self and not have to live a lie.
Secondly, still taking it slowly, you give them time to get used to you. Your sense of humor, who you are, what you like.
Thirdly, it helps a lot to like people. If you don't by nature, start even smaller. Find one thing you like about anyone, and add more to it as much as you can, and make sure you spread that out wider to a general public.
Fourthly, BE someone. Know what you like, who you are, what you value, what your ambitions are, and how you will get there, people will naturally gravitate to you. No one else can fill in those answers for you, you have to find it on your own first.

There's no guaranteed perfect way for any one individual, everyone is different, and there's clashes. But you can try reading Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People, or more than a dozen others, depending on your learning or friendship style.

Fifthly, MAY BE IRRELEVANT BUT JUST IN CASE: make sure that your impediment is actually you and your choices. If you have an abusive person in your life who is making sure you can't add more friendships, starting to try hard on this can rile them up and put you in danger. So make sure you know exactly what you're looking for and what is in the way.
