[It's the nature of superheroics that every year, somewhere, there's some world-ending crisis that requires a team-up. This year it happened to be in Tokyo, the Chosen's turf. And while most of the Justice League were busy off world, the Titans had at least been willing to help out.
The Chosen's hideout isn't anywhere near as grand as Tim might be used to. Shared shower facilities for a start, although right now, in the wake of a particularly difficult battle with starfish aliens, it's just Yamato and Tim there. Everyone else had either fallen asleep immediately, were in the infirmary, or had hooked up for thank-god-we're-alive sex.
Truthfully, Yamato and Tim maybe don't have to be quite so close together. Yamato's standing so close his hip is pressed up against Tim's. It's a couple of minutes of companionable silence before Yamato nudges a fist into Tim's back, just above the cleft of his ass.]
