There you are, minding your own business when you have to get on an elevator. Maybe you're on your way to work or home. Maybe you're out running errands. Maybe you're visiting someone or some other various reason.

It's just a box that goes up and down until it doesn't. It suddenly stops and now you're stuck. Uh-oh.

How to play!
⬧ Post a top-level comment with your character and why they are taking an elevator that day. Try not to leave a blank comment.
⬧ The options are almost endless! Is your character claustrophobic? Is the elevator in dire need of repairs or is it standard maintenance gone awry? Has the power gone out? Is it a trap? Any hanky-panky happening? What's going on?
⬧Have fun! Maybe you'll make a new friend or a nemesis. Who knows?

After the ninth button press, the entire thing shudders, the overhead lights cut off, and the whole thing groans to a screeching halt midway through two floors, several stories up. Cool. He was cool standing next to Rozanov and pretending they weren't on their way to his room. That Shane wasn't about to push him to the nearest wall and get down on his knees. He was cool while he had his phone out and was instead looking at Rozanov's hands and what they were going to do to him later. He glanced up once at the display. Almost there. And it was like with that thought, he'd jinxed himself.

The elevator made a noise and suddenly dropped. He tumbled into the man and they both ended up in the corner of the elevator. Not even a second later, the free fall stopped.

"Shit," he muttered and glanced at Rozanov. He stepped away and took a breath and then pushed the emergency button.

"We see you and we're calling the fire department now. Please be patient."

It made him glance up and he noticed the security camera in the corner of the ceiling. Great.

"Blue balls by elevator," he muttered under his breath.
