(( Generally throughout life, Terzo has never been known to be patient. He's always liked rushing into things, enjoyed instant gratification, having things just happen immediately as opposed to waiting. After all, he knows first hand that life is pretty short in the grand scheme of things and why should anyone spend any of that time waiting?

So, in a way, a part of him is pleased at the spiral that went from casual hook-up to regularly seeing one another to officially dating to Mercy officially moving into an apartment in town.

But then there's a part of him that can't help but feel anxious about it. It's a little too good and a little too perfect, and Terzo loves when things are perfect, but he also expects the other shoe to drop at any given moment. What if the only thing keeping them in their little sphere of bliss was the distance between them? What if Mercy's weird little curse situation actually does affect the town, and Terzo has to carry that with him because he insisted it wouldn't? He's practically paced a hole into one of the rugs in Primo's sitting room while his brother patiently listened to him ramble and rant in circles about the whole thing.

He wants this. Obviously he wants this, because he's not running away or sabotaging it. Even when he tried to do that, it just sort of fizzled out, so logically there's no reason to freak out. That's what he's telling himself, anyway, as he knocks on the door to Mercy's new place. It's not like he hasn't already been there. He and Primo both gave it a seal of approval, after all, but he wanted to give Mercy the opportunity to have a little of time with it on his own before Terzo all but barged in semi-permanently.

He also didn't come empty handed. That would be rude. His little housewarming basket is a little bit of something from each of the Emeritus brothers; some flowers from Primo and a vase to put them in, a bottle of good scotch from Secondo, a gift card to a cafe in town tucked inside an envelope with a job offer from Copia, and a couple more records from himself. Along with a few toiletries, because Terzo knows he's going to be here enough to need them, and he's going to have to bring some clothes to leave here next time he comes by.

But that's next time. They can just get through this step first and let reality sink in. ))
