[In comparison to him, Caroline is likely viewed as some sort of of baby vampire. Which is fine. It's not like any of this was an intension (really going back to her being bitten-- that wasn't her plan either, but that's a digression). But well when the group's been on some heavy search for another magical miracle, there's no surprise where it's landed them.

She's met old vampires before, too (Viking no less, but well Godric is Eric's maker and he's even older than what she's used to-- but well in some kind of way Godric reminds her of a sadder Elijah, someone who wears all of his guilt and suffering quietly, but vividly). All the politics are mostly lost on her out here. She's been under the Salvatores now, and no one else seems to really bother them up in their little town in Virginia, but now that she's traveling, she's seeing more of the scope of their world-- the Vampire world, at large.

It's just a piece with all the magic they've encountered, and the group including Elena and Bonnie have all split up when she starts to feel the magic setting in. Her humanity has been mostly whole. She's only turned it off due to the immense grief at losing her mother. But it's never been like her to even consider such an act. For as much as she knows the monster she could be, seen it in others, Caroline very much believes in the good. In herself and in others.

The threats had been made - and ignored - to Rowan. Lestat was to introduce himself at Court upon arriving in Seattle and to be on his best behavior. Warnings that were ignored. Normally, it would fall to the sheriff to deal with this, but in this case, the Prince has a vested interest in handling it himself; not just for the safety of the vampire involved but to drive a specific point home for Lestat and his little fae boytoy. It's about sending a message. Having dismissed Court for the day, he returns to his haven to dress himself in appropriate attire for what will inevitably be something bloody and confounding given his past interactions with the target of this evening's discourse.

If there would be much talking.

"You have arrived in my city without announcing yourself. I have warned you about this. Before I was offering a warning for your own good, but now it is a direct infringement upon my Court. I am Prince now, and you will answer to me." The elder's voice is a low growl as he forces his way into the peformer's room, the door nearly breaking off its hinges as he does so. There's a slam as it shuts behind him and he stalks in, hands curled into claw-like structures though he is still keeping himself restrained. He has foregone his Magister's attire, instead wearing something more in line with what Lestat's usual concert-goers might wear. Something easier to blend in with. Something not so... Obvious. Ripped black skinny jeans, heavy combat boots, a loose shirt far too large for him, and under that a black mesh skin-tight shirt. The accessories of a jangling neck chain and black leather set of bracelets just complete the ensemble. The rest is still all Phyre. The attitude, simmering the anger, the magic that threatens to brim over in a crackling burst at any moment. Except now he comes with a title.

Things have changed in Seattle. Phyre now stands at the top of the food chain - at least, until the Justicars have to get involved. Something he is trying to avoid, as they will be much less lenient with Lestat than he would ever be. Much like a parent punishing a child with the addage "this hurts me more than it hurts you" so too was this, Phyre having to handle things himself before someone else stepped in and did more damage. At least in this fashion he could say he did something about it and the issue was handled; violence was not the way to handle this situation, either. Lestat only answered to being humbled and Phyre knew the best way to do that, given their past interaction in person. What Lestat did after that was up to him.

Although it was not entirely altruistic. If pressed, he would admit it was not entirely unpleasant for him to put the brat in his place. Why not have fun while you work?
