( a little rusty and trying to get back into things. castmates are adored, but very open to crosscanon/medium and assumed CR for the found family aspect. she can easily AU into most universes as a street rat thief. happy to write the starter if you have an idea in mind! )

[Sean had been a project, at first.

a robot from a foreign world appearing deactivated, with technology unlike their own— but far from the scope of someone as intelligent as Idia. of course, with Ortho being the main advocate for Sean, he had been the one to do most of the work under Idia's watchful eye as Idia himself tested his own ability to modify Ortho's intricacies and train him.

once Sean had woken up, though, he'd become more. not just a project, but a person just like Ortho. the only other One in the world, so far. and Ortho had never been discontent with being the First or even the Only, but once Sean was here it was like something he didn't know was missing had returned.

and the Shrouds? all of them had been fascinated. making improvements for Sean was a different challenge than making them for Ortho, and inventing ways for them to work together was fascinating, too. they'd become attached fast, even if Idia hadn't made him.

Ortho had always been the younger one tailing after Idia. now, there was someone for Ortho to lead, instead. and sometimes, that involved literally leading Sean around. while at Styx, there were still many places to explore, and Sean hasn't gotten to see all of them! so of course Ortho has taken some time to drag Sean around to the outside, to show him the peculiar architecture of the Isle of Woe.]

The columns on these buildings are "Ionic", referring to the era in which they were created. You can tell by the carved mouldings on the Frieze. These ones in particular depict the Watchman of the Underworld consulting with the Fates, and are dated back thousands of years!

There's nothing in the fridge.

[ First words when Dean walks into the kitchen to find one Claire Novak peering into said fridge and leaving the door open way too long. It's total bullshit, too - there's stuff in the fridge, just nothing that falls into Claire's food related skill of 'put in microwave, press button'. She finally emerges from the fridges, closing the door - and holding a beer bottle.

When did she get to the bunker, why is she here, how come she didn't call (actually, calling is for old people, she texts, thank you very much), what kind of ghoul nest did she poke with a stick for her face to be a canvas for bruising and half-heartedly patched up scrapes?

Too many details, but here she is, ruining what could have been a very peaceful weekend. ]
