[All of the trees had felled, dragged to various locations within the monastery, and had been decorated. Cutting them down had been the good part. Dragging them around? ...Arduous. But at least it was some form of strength training.

Everything else had been slow, monotonous torture. Decorating specifically. Had he have his way, Felix would have slapped the contents of the boxes they'd been provided on each and called it a day. But Annette...

Annette had altogether different ideas. No, it needs to go this way, Doesn't that look a little crooked to you?, If you put all of it up there, there won't be enough for the bottom!

What could have taken an hour had taken around three. And there was still so much more to do...

He wasn't going to get to the training hall today. And he'd made his peace with that. So all he can do as the pair attend the next of their tasks, cooking side dishes for a great feast the next day for all students and faculty members...

...All he can do is stare a long stare. A vacant, flat facial expression. Into the pot that Annette is currently stirring. This is torture...]
