Nature takes on many forms: from lush forests to snowy mountain peaks, bountiful coastal lands to harsh, sun-beaten deserts. Some of these places may be less hospitable to life than others, but all present their own unique challenges... and all command respect, for both their beauty and their power to support or end a life. Wherever you may travel, and for whatever reason, mind your environment. The wilderness can support you, but it can also ruin you. Will you fight it, or adapt to it?

[Yang Cheng looks over to Shang Chao from where he's kneeling as he finishes pitching the pop-up tent. There's something a little wide-eyed about his expression, a soft awe.]

...It's so quiet out here.

[He's never really left X City before. There were no trips growing up under the orphanage's care, and once he became an adult, balancing university and work gave him neither the time nor the money to go anywhere. If he'd been on holiday with his parents as a child, then no one alive remembered it as more than brief, hazy flashes now.

Either way, without the urban background noise, he can't help but notice the hush blanketing the world. It makes him hyper aware of the trees and underbrush, of his every movement... of Shang Chao's every shift. It's strangely entrancing.]

[ Welcome to episode 3450820 of Asano Rin Having A No Good Very Bad Day. For some reason or another, she finds herself out in the wilderness once again. Fishing wasn't so successful last time, so she's opted to try and make traps, like that time Manji showed her. So she ties a string to a stick and uses the stick to prop up her large traveler's straw hat, puts a few berries she found under it, and sits down a small distance away.

And waits.

And waits.

And waits.

As she is waiting, she fidgets here and there, changes her sitting position, yawns. Her stomach growls. ]

Haldir sensed a storm before there were visible signs starting to show. He began to prepare a tent around some sturdy trees to stay under. Had been a basic storm he could have easily weathered it out. But this one looked like it was going to be a strong storm. There was no time to make it back home.

He had plenty of time. Time was never a thing to worry about. He would simply wait it out before he headed back home. He wasn't with his patrol group and didn't have to worry about their safety. In a sense it felt strange being on his own.

The wind had really began to pick up by the time he got the tent secured.
