This is the Sleeping Meme. Plain and simple, your character is sleeping with another one. While sharing a bed and sleeping together with someone is very intimate, smut is not necessary.
 

What do:

[ It had been a while before she allowed him back into the flat but seeing his interaction with Arthur, seeing how he had stuck to his word in agreeing to Joan's terms, she felt a little more willing to let him move back in. She hadn't allowed him in her bed, though. Not for a few nights. He could have the couch (which Arthur wanted to insist on staying with him when it was his bedtime).

When she did let him back into her bedroom, there was no indication that it was going to be accompanied by a more intimate reunion. They'd had a lot to drink the night before, and Santana has been keeping a closer and closer eye on Brittany with the whole "stalker" thing, which really Brittany thinks is ridiculous. She doesn't even consider it that word. People are just weird about death sometimes and write crazy things. To each their own.

But apparently Santana made sure Brittany got home last night, and Brittany insisted Santana stay, and after much discussion and arguing she told Santana she didn't mind sharing her bed.

But now she's waking up and she's completely twisted up with her best friend and...she's not sure what to do. She's been blinking at Santana's face sleepily for a moment, but she closes her eyes. She could try and pull away, but that might wake Santana up. And she...doesn't know how to deal with this predicament once Santana actually is awake. Especially because....she is really, really comfortable and doesn't actually want to move. She could just lay here forever. And that is not a thought she should be having about Santana.

[although haruka often squirmed restlessly before he settled on a permanent sleeping position, makoto tended to conk out as soon as he was belly-up. they're sharing makoto's bed tonight, spare futon being used by one of ren and ran's school friends. it isn't strange for them, having grown up sharing a bed more than once on the occasion it happened. there wasn't much weirdness between them.

haru stirs, wriggling uncomfortably onto his side facing his friend, peeking into the cool darkness of the room before letting his eyes lid closed. he sighs, resting his hand on the mattress between them. there isn't much space; makoto's bed is really built for one, and they're both grown teenagers. haru's hand inches it over, clasping makoto's in his own, fingers squeezing the other boy's.

he can't seem to sleep well tonight. he doesn't want to wake makoto up, and this is his way of seeking comfort.]

[ It's difficult to say what exactly has lead them down this path. There's no question that Arthur is fond of the boy, but none could have guessed the extent of his admiration. He knows it's not appropriate relationship between a king and his knight-- it's the furthest thing from befitting-- but he's denied his feelings for too long now. He was only human, after all.

He's yet to stir from his slumber, an arm draped over Mordred's waist loosely. His nose is buried in the other's hair, and every now and then, his grip on Mordred's waist tightens, hugging him tighter. He's snoozing lightly, which Mordred should probably be grateful for, since he was prone to snoring. ]

She is comfortable. Completely, utterly, and blissfully.

It is an unusual state of affairs for Gilbert, who usually views sleep as something necessary, to be attended to and finished without fuss. Her sleep is, after all, often haunted by darkness, images she cannot recall on waking even though the emotions remain, and she tries as best as she can to subsist on series of short naps during the day, snatched whenever possible.

Right now, however, she feels as though she truly rested, cradled as she is in warmth, curled in a comfortable tangle and—

She should likely be alarmed, but with perfect drowsy logic, Gilbert reasons that if she has cause to be alarmed she would have woken up before, so clearly she doesn't. Instead she only nestles a little closer against her warm, breathing pillow with a small yawn, and lets herself continue to drift.
