I. BAD ROMANCE

01. IT'S TOO LATE TO APOLOGIZE. You had a fight and now your lover isn't sure they want to even hear your apologies.
02. HURT/COMFORT. You or your lover is in pain, physically or mentally, and needs to be comforted.
03. SECOND BEST. No matter what your lover says, you feel like they're only settling for you like a second choice.

III. HOW CAN I EXIST WITHOUT YOU?

[ A little experiment. That's all the first tie of Heero's wrist to the bed frame, and then the other. A way to show that Heero trusted him, apparently, Duo treaded carefully, made sure that Heero was absolutely fine with everything, kissed him many times on the mouth to assure him that they were in tune, that if he was ever uncomfortable he could tell him and they could stop altogether without any kind of negatives going on. After all, he didn't want Heero to believe in any way that he would react negatively to being told that they needed to stop in order to keep Heero comfortable. He liked this sort of play, but at the same time, it was less enjoyable if Heero wasn't enjoying it the way Duo was.

So he leans in for another kiss, moving to Heero's jaw, and then back to his bottom lip. ]

[It was strangely exciting to let Duo do this to him. No one else could if he didn't allow it himself. Complete and utter trust was what he wanted Duo to understand. At first, he hadn't been entirely certain he could go through with it himself, but between the tender kisses and the care his lover took, he relaxed, managing to respond and lean up to respond to those kisses.]

[ He leans in for another kiss before his mouth trails to Duo's chin and jaw, suckling and kissing, paying attention to every little detail as he works down his neck. Even if they were toying right now, playing with control and testing the waters, he wanted Heero to know, without a shadow of a doubt, that he cared about him and wanted to make this the best for him that he possibly could. His hands slide down Heero's sides, down to his thighs, gripping at his ass playfully as he sucks a dark mark on to his collar bone. ]

It had been a risk to tangle with a god known for hunting demons, and while it had lasted. But somewhat predictably it had ended badly with his own storming back home away from the god's world and back into his own. A few years later, he'd nearly died and fled to the mortal realm and that had been that.

But now that his human life had come to an end, word was just starting to spread that he wasn't as dead as rumored. Even getting out of the demon realm to the others. Youko Kurama was back.

The Youko had always struck Ashura as different from the other demons he tended to hunt. That was what had made any kind of relationship possible. Even if it had been relatively short-lived, it had been passionate. But the demon had inevitably left, and mere years later rumors spread that he'd died. Ashura's reaction to the news had shocked the god, though he never displayed the impact. Not in public, nor even amongst those closest to him. Kurama was dead, and there was nothing he could do about it.

End of story, right? Wrong. A human lifetime passed before more rumors started cropping up and finally reached the war god's ear. Naturally he tied up the important business that required his attention before taking a 'vacation'. His destination? The demon world. He had a specific demon to find. He started with where they'd first met - one of the fox's more favored locations.

Where they'd met, and where Ashura had tried to kill him. After all, he was both a powerful demon, and a thief. That much, he'd never really blamed him for. After all, he'd nearly killed many of his oldest friends at some point.

As for the den, it was overgrown, though with signs that someone had been around recently. Someone who the plants had accepted.

Tried, of course. But Ashura had never been more pleased he'd failed to kill any demon than he had been with the silver haired fox. He brushed fingertips over the overgrown plants, knowing what those signs meant. A smile barely touched the god's lips before he turned with a faint rustle of robes. The fox was around; had to be. Now it was a matter of hunting him down again.

Kurama didn't live at that den anymore, but he'd just passed through to gather some things he'd left behind and it was true that he hadn't traveled very far since. The fox was in no hurry.

He paused when the god came within a mile of him, looking up. That was an energy signature he'd not felt in a very long time. So what was his old lover up to? Curiosity dominating, Kurama paused in his journey to let him catch up.

"Coming to kill me for real this time?" he aksed softly.
