"I don't want your help up." Road pouted as the other held out his hand. She hadn't sat down in the corner to have anyone come and talk to her after all. Why why this guy being such a bother?

Then I will sit down with you and keep you company!

[ He'd offered his hand to help her up because that's the gentlemanly thing to do, right? When a lady is on the ground it's only right to offer one's hand. There's nothing right about leaving her to be alone down there. But if she won't take his hand, then the next best thing would be to keep her company and who wouldn't want the company of a charming young man like Tamaki? ]

... okay. [Because he is now going to be what she's leaning against instead of the wall.]

[ He's a little surprised whens he first leans on him, but he gets over it quickly and laughs good-naturedly instead. ]

[ Tamaki's smile changes into something more like a smirk, smug and stupid, like he's proud of the "accomplishment" of being soft enough for her. ]

[ The puppy in Tamaki's hands licks his nose, bringing an even wider smile and a laugh to his lips. ]

[That is the most horrifying thing he's ever heard.]

Dogs have owners, not parents. And that one's not mine.

But parents sounds so much better than owners! Dogs should be considered family members! And family members don't own each other!

[ Tamaki doesn't even care that this guy is less than agreeable. This puppy is so cute, nothing is going to wipe the smile off his face. He sets the puppy down, letting it walk over to it's second "parent". ]

[Oh shit, maybe it's just because he's dealt with his own cheerful idiot for so long, but he's starting to smile. Even to laugh.]

Hey, dog. [He leans down, rubbing it lightly between the ears.]

[ Tamaki wouldn't be Tamaki if he didn't have a rose with him and now is no exception. He pulls the flower out and bends down to slip it under the dog's collar - it's thornless, of course. ]

There! Now he's equipped to woo all of the lovely girl dogs he meets.

[And suddenly he's standing back up, getting right in Tamaki's face.]

Did I say I'd keep him? He's still yours. And this "parent" shit isn't happening.

[ This change is disappointing to Tamaki, but he doesn't let that phase him. Much. Tamaki doesn't know this guy well, making it difficult to think of a way to convince to go along with the parent charade.

But there is one thing he could do. It's a ridiculously long shot, but it works with the customers of the Host Club, maybe it will work now.

Tamaki takes some of John's hair, letting it run through his fingers and leaning in close to kiss it. His smirk is the same one he usually reserves for the customers, but what does that matter? This whole act is usually reserved for them, anyway. ]

Are you really so cruel that you would deny this poor animal your gracious presence? Surely someone as steadfast and strong as you would make a perfect parent to this lovely creature.

[ Tamaki's naturally loud voice is even louder now and he doesn't bother acknowledging Kyouya's foul mood. He's in full on crisis mode right now. ]

The twins have kidnapped Haruhi and are forcing her to spend time with them!! We must stop them before they do anything inappropriate with her!!!

[ He throws his arms around Kyouya, seeking comfort in the arms of his best friend. Somewhere in the back of his mind he knows that this is one of his worst ideas ever. The front of his mind, however, is too preoccupied with his distress over Haruhi and the twins to care. ]

[Note to self: expressly prohibit the staff from allowing Tamaki beyond the front door before ten in the morning.

They invited her to their mother's showcase this evening.

I presume they've taken her to find her a proper outfit.

[ And clearly this is the best time for Tamaki to begin using his bedroom eyes. Maybe they'll help convince Kyouya that they need to solve this dilemma. ]

Then we must find them and acquire the perfect outfit before they can. After all, who better to find Haruhi an outfit than her loving father?

[Those damn eyes. But, well. He's not giving in to that not so easily. The fact that he's smiling ought to be warning enough.]
