Not all forms of touch are created equal however. Some are gentle and uplifting while others can be discouraging or even harmful, so one should always be mindful of the unspoken messages they intend to convey to those around them.

[ It had been a simple trip to Treviso; where he had asked the professor to accompany himself and Lucanis for a little bit of shopping. Food stock had been running low - thus a day trip to Antiva, where Rook had been designated the Carrier of Many Things as he enjoyed the rare moment of quiet.

Throughout their shopping he would find himself lingering closer to Emmrich than not. Peering around him to see whatever may have caught the necromancer's eye from time to time, before Lucanis would hand him more of the shopping. No complaints would leave the Warden, save for a few well-timed quips, or puns about crows to make their Antivan groan.

It was when they were making their way through the Cantori Diamon, where Rook sidled himself close to the taller man, his left hand brushing against the small of Emmrich's back. It lingers here a moment as Rook leans in, a hint of mischief in green eyes, and an unspoken promise on playful lips; ]

...If you're not terribly busy this afternoon, Emmrich, I'd like to speak to you in the meditation room? After I help Lucanis put these supplies away, if that isn't too soon for you, of course.
