The Find a Crossover Ship Partner Meme

It's crazy, but sometimes you just really want to ship with a character from another canon, but you don't have a castmate and feel awkward about asking or wanting to do that. Though there's a lot of desire and opportunities for crossover shipping in DWRP, actually finding people to do it with can be a bit overwhelming. So, will you have to do without your Samus Aran/Tony Stark OTP forever?

Not with this meme in hand, you won't! Here, you can find like-minded people who aren't too constrained by canons. You can make connections and decide if you'd like to take an idea and run with it in a meme or a musebox. Maybe, if you're lucky, someone may even have been looking for your character for...well, forever!

On the whole I like sweet relationships that have some minor tension (shallow bickering despite actually caring about each other, and other forms of tension), or perhaps pulling serious characters out of their shell/helping them have a little fun.
Largely what I'd want is the development from either the beginning or a middle stage of friendship developing into an even deeper friendship or relationship. Starting as acquaintances or assuming some previous interaction - both are fine.
Though I have been browsing the "Mind-Fuck" meme every time it comes around, I never really do much more than browse. I'm interested in the type of situations it provides, but more often than not I'd be interested in playing the reluctant victim. Creepily/unsettling situations seem interesting to me.

Smut/No Smut: I can enjoy a sexually charged situation, but I don't really write smut with people I don't know / write smut in public.

Dynamics/Character Types You Enjoy: Let's see... I like antagonistic dynamics that turn to friendship. I like when characters have conflicting agendas or end up working together despite being on different sides. So, given that Elijah is a vampire, it would be interesting to pit him against a vampire hunter, werewolf, or witch. Someone with supernatural powers that could work against his own - but getting around his initial instinct to simply take out any opponent.

I would also be very happy to do an "introducing a human character to the existence of vampires" type storyline. Elijah has mind control abilities, and I'd be willing to play with the darker aspects of his powers for anyone who doesn't mind their character being targeted by a vampire.

Preferences: I don't write smut, but I'm happy to fade to black. For shipping purposes, het only. Elijah comes from a supernatural universe, so I can work with either meshing supernatural lore or introducing a character from a normal universe to the supernatural. What... ever? Okay that's too broad. Really, I like playing things mostly by ear and seeing there the cards fall. I have something of a preference towards a modern setting, and so unless something contradicts that I tend to assume that's the case. Hello. I'm only vaguely familiar with Durarara so I don't know what kind of character would be a best fit for Masaomi but I might be interested in creating someone for him.

I've been toying with ideas for a muse who has very little canon background so she would basically be an OC (but not completely). On top of that, she would be from a Western folktale transferred to modern day Japan... It sounds like a good idea to me but I don't know if it's terrible to others. I'm thinking of using a live-action PB (Japanese girl).

Scenarios Desired: I'm rather partial to fluff and hurt/comfort. Victor's fanfic verse has him staying at Houndsditch and meeting Alice there, but AUs where she comes to his town or they meet elsewhere are completely acceptable as well. Threads don't have to be explicitly romantic -- I like doing friendshippy stuff between them too -- but I'm not going to complain in the slightest if one ends up heading that way.

Preferences: I'm willing to smut if my partner's up for it -- and actually, I've got Victor with a mild thing for bondage (with him being the tied-up partner), so. . . :P I'd prefer to keep away from any major gore, though. Can occur before she allies with the Legion if desired. Hell, shortly after she leaves the doc if you want.

If you prefer The Lone Wanderer, keep in mind that she's a good girl and tends to do whatever she thinks is right, and if you're playing Ra's she will probably mistake you for her father at first. Whether or not she'd get over that I'm not sure, so that might wind up being gen only.

Preferences: Familiarity with the game(s) would be nice, but isn't necessary as long as you're willing to wiki (and possibly YouTube a bit). I'm looking more for plot than smut, but eventual 'shipping/smut would be nice. Playing out smut or doing fade to black are both fine with me. She's the girl who had her entire life, every last detail planned out, and lost everything when it derailed. It takes a lot to get her to let her guard down and if someone thinks they know everything about her, they probably haven't gotten the half of it.
Dynamics/Character Types You Enjoy: Quinn would say she doesn't have a type, but she tends to go for the bad boys. Those ones who've got a heart of gold buried somewhere in there. She's also got a bit of a thing for older guys, as evidenced in her "dating" one of her college professors this past season. Basically, the more difficult a relationship is, the more she's likely to pursue it.
Preferences: I'm completely fine with smut, but it's not at all required and I would very much prefer that it not become the sole focus of the relationship. Despite her world weary attitude, until very recently Quinn was extremely closed off sexually, so she's not going to immediately jump into bed with anybody, it needs to be built up to.

If questioned on the matter, Quinn would say that she's straight, but as she slowly starts to open up, she's exploring her sexuality a little more (albeit slowly) so f/f ships are certainly not entirely out of the question.

Preferences: I'm generally more of a prose person and I don't do smut or much shipping with R. I tend to prefer gen/adventure/horror-survival with dashes of humor laced in :) Also, slow posting is preferred since I'm unable to boomerang.
