The Lap Pillow Meme

From TV Tropes: A good way to show the physical intimacy and trust which a couple have is to rest one's head on the other's lap. Usually, the man does the resting while the woman provides the lap, not only because of anatomical reasons but because the lap-owner is typically of a nurturing nature more associated with femininity. Bonus points if she's feeding him grapes or stroking his hair. In some cases this is done between people who are not necessarily lovers, to comfort someone who is weeping or injured.

Or, in the case of the meme: anything. Maybe they're tired and just found a good place to rest? Maybe both parties were asleep? Hard to tell. All we know is, someone's head is going to be on another person's lap. Shenanigans will ensue.

Insomnia was Draco's enemy, as much as it allowed him to get so much more done than he normally could. Working on getting his mastery in potions, as well as rebuilding the Malfoy and Black fortunes. There was a lot to do, a lot he had inherited and was determined to pull off with as little help as possible. Which meant that, generally, when he finally stopped moving, he crashed.

Right now, it was not time to crash, but it was coming. He could feel the tug on his body as he entered into his lover's home, demanding that he rest, though Draco knew he had too much to do to simply rest for long. He found Severus sitting on a divan, reading, and promptly disposed of his jacket, tie and shoes before draping his long, slender form over the entirety of the piece of furniture; head ending up in Severus' lap.

"Remind me again why I thought investing in real estate was a good idea?" Turning his head slightly, half of his face became hidden by Severus' clothes, the lone grey eyes visible slowly gliding shut, though he was still very much awake.

So, while they're finishing up cleaning a team picnic, Kou suddenly just flops on Makoto, sighing.]

[ Kaldur here doesn't mind the scaly part one bit. In fact it reminds him of home which only makes him more comfortable as he was comfortably sleeping with his head in her lap. The sun was bright so his webbed had was covering his face. ]
