the powerpoint meme Look. You know your character is a nerd about something. There's a hill they want to die on, there's a topic they want to argue about. Here's their opportunity to make their case. This isn't a strict meme. Your character's powerpoint presentation can be an actual powerpoint, a bulletpoint list, images made in paint, description of a video they filmed... however they would like to make their presentation. some things that they can be making presentations about: ranking various items/people/concepts, why _ is better than _, the ocean is/isn't soup, what constitutes a sandwich, etc.

[Doesn’t matter how difficult it is, Aqua will hug and hold Via for as she wants. That pain and heartache was something Aqua dealt with in the Realm of Darkness. The “what ifs” and feelings of failing Eraqus, Ventus and Terra floated through her head more times than she wished.

If she can ease some of Via’s pain, then she’d gladly take that on. Because this? It’s not something she’d wish on anyone.

When Via starts to pull away, Aqua lets her. The moment has passed, and that’s alright. ]

Via manages a watery sort of smile, she would like it if she came out of today with an actual friend, and Aqua has been very kind to her.]

I think maybe they're for eating ice cream and drawing bad animals?

[Via holds her phone out to Aqua.]

[ The blue haired woman lets out a soft chuckle. If Via were shorter, she would’ve patted the other’s head.

And huh, it looks like there a tiara or the print of one on that beanie. Never noticed that before. ]

Nightmarish and Hellish animals. [Aqua jokes in gentle tones. Have to be specific there.

Well, she doesn’t know if the phone number to her Gummy phone will work but hopefully it does. She takes Bia’s phone and enters in her digits. ]

You can text or call whenever you want. [ She hands the phone back to her. ] I will warn you, I might end up sending you random pictures of different places. Or different foods.

[Cause what else would she take pictures of? Herself? Pft.]

I’d like that, I’ll try and send you some too. I usually put all my pictures on Sinsta, but I don’t think that app exists outside of Hell.

[Oh finally, an ice cream place. Via makes a beeline and opens the door for her new friend.]

Whatever, there’s ice cream to be had! No one bats an eye at the two of them and some people are dressed up in different outfits.

Aqua kind of takes notice of the lanyards and IDs hanging off some people and there’s talk of “cosplay” going around. Whatever it is doesn’t matter. She has money and she can treat her new friend to something sweet. ]

Oh you bet I am. But first, ice cream. Get whatever you like.

[Aqua will probably get a milkshake or something easy to carry around. There are a lot of flavors to choose from. Hmmm…]

[Via doesn't really pay much attention to the people in costume, all she cares about is that nobody seems to notice she's not human. It just makes her think they're really unobservant, and wonder why human disguises are even a necessary spell to learn.]

Do you think they have frozen rat pops?

[She's scouring the cabinets for sweet treats to her palate, but all of them seem to be things like chocolate and strawberry.]

I guess not... hm, I'll take a banana one, that sounds like it could be good. Oh, wait, I... uh, what kind of money do they take here?

Uhhhh… popsicles yes? The frozen rat kind, maybe not.

[Right, Via is a bird demon (of sorts?) so it makes sense her tastes would be more…prey driven? Or maybe Aqua was over thinking things—

I would assume normal money? [ Aqua reaches into her pocket and takes out some funds that magically look like they belong in whatever world this is.

Gold is gold. Who can say no to it? ]

If this isn’t enough, I know I have more.

[ The poor teenager at the counter is just in awe that two girls don’t know what money is—but doesn’t matter? They seem to have the funds for it. ]

So, one banana popsicle and one cherry popsicle please? [ Might as well join Via in the popsicle party.

Aqua hands the funds over and the term merely hands both popsicles to Via, managing to murmur “cool cosplay” under their breath. ]

Did you want to sit outside or find a place in here to sit?

Outside is better, less people to listen.

[They've somehow got lucky so far with nobody twigging that they're from different worlds, but if they discuss too much where listening ears can hear, that could be a whole other issue.

Licking at her popsicle, she leads the way back outside and to some benches under the shade of a large tree.]

Fair enough. [Its not that Aqua minds people listening in, it’s not like they would believe anything she’d say. But, best to keep moving so no one questions how she has so much gold on her.

She manages to grab a few napkins before they head out of the shop. A few licks of her cherry popsicle to keep the liquid from running down her hand. ]

…kind of. [Aqua begins to say, taking a seat on the bench next to Via.] Didn’t have as many people. We didn’t have visitors, not unless there was an exam. [ A shrug. ]

I grew up with two others that I consider my brothers. It was the three of us for a while and then… [Things happened, shit hit the fan and she was trying to make amends.] We’re working on mending things. [ Yup, that’s the short version of it. ]

Have you been to other places aside from here and Hell?

[An exam? Did she live in some sort of school? She wants to ask, but Aqua moves on before she has a chance and it feels weird to go back and fix on that. She has no idea what it's like to grow up with siblings, even chosen ones, and there's a brief look of sympathy- Aqua must miss them.

Via gives a half shake of her head and a one shoulder shrug.]

Not really. I guess technically I've been to space, and once I went to Holly's Wood, but mostly I've just been in Hell.

She hesitates a second, it might be too personal a question but Aqua has been kind and Via wants to offer the same.]

...what happened that you need to fix?

[Its a deep question, one that Aqua isn’t sure how to answer at first. How much should she say? How little? And of course, the lingering worry of trusting Via as she is a demon…

She squashes that worry and takes in a deep breath. ]

It’s a really long story. But, essentially, my family and I were tricked. We turned against each other and by the time I figured it out—it wasn’t good. The man who raised us, who I considered to be my dad, he was gone.

One of brothers fell into a coma, and the other…I gave up everything of myself to try and save him and it wasn’t enough.

[That really brought down the mood, didn’t it? Least she didn’t bring up being trapped in a void for ten years, or turning evil…

Gotta save some trauma for their next hang out. ]

I still blame myself for what happened. I know my family has forgiven me, but I can’t bring myself to do the same. Not yet anyway.
