UNSENT LETTERS MEME	Letter Types
Maybe you were just cleaning up, maybe you were snooping on purpose when you found the letter tucked away where they obviously thought you would never find it. It has your name written right on it, plain and clear. Do you read it? It's so hard to resist... And if you do, do you confront them about it or try your best to ignore it? - Post your character with name, series, and any preferences. - Others respond after enlisting the help of RNG on deciding a type or just choosing the one they like best. - Play nice.	1. hate ∞ the letter details what you've done to bother the person who wrote it. It lists all the problems they have with you and all the wrongs you've done to them. 2. break ∞ secretly, they've wanted to break up with you for awhile now. 3. love ∞ they are hopelessly, helplessly in love with you. 4. depression ∞ they're very depressed or desperate and spill out every reason why. 5. confession ∞ they've done something wrong and detail it in this letter. Was it to you or somebody else? 6. sexy ∞ not quite romantic, they're confessing all the dirty things they would like to do with you. 7. leaving ∞ they were offered a job or something too enticing to pass up and they're planning on leaving you soon. 8. wildcard ∞ If you don't like any of the above options, make up your own letter!

The paper is one of many half-finished poems and letters and other written works that's built up in his drawer over the years. Now that he and Argine are moving in together at last, he's had to finally succumb to clearing it out.

He'll be taking a bathroom break when she'll have the opportunity to spot it, not too far from the top of one of the piles of paper being sorted on his desk. It's a little crumpled, a little tear-stained, and penned by the hand of a much younger Andrew-- although that much isn't really clear until one starts reading it.

It also isn't a poem, not really. It's more of a series of false starts that still ache to read, become a poem in and of themselves.

She's gone and I don't know

Things are so careful, still, as they try to figure out what he can recall and what needs to be filled in. As they try to understand exactly who they are to each other now. She'd explained, with eyes hauntingly empty and a voice only barely wavering, the task that Aslan had given to her, and how it had alienated her from her siblings to the point that she had not been with them at the end of things. Despite the blankness in her expression, it's clear the fact of it still aches.

She lends him the diaries of her late siblings to read and understand. Doesn't realize that a letter she'd written long ago and used as a bookmark upon her own perusing of her siblings' thoughts is still in between the pages when she does.

The handwriting is as crisp as it is in the present day, the strikeouts so well-placed that the words are only just discernable when looked at them in the right light.

Dear Caspian,
I know it's stupid of me to write this when I know you're never going to see it. I could give it to Lucy or Edmund, I suppose-- they've still a chance of going back-- but by then I'll likely have convinced them all I've forgotten and I simply don't want them giving you this only to have them tell you that it's no longer true.

You said before we left that you wished we could have more time together. I know it must have seemed like I was brushing it off, then, but the truth is that I do, too. But we did not have that time, and yet still I feel even more for you every day. I miss you more than can possibly be healthy-- even dream about you, at times. And I think... I think I may love you. I don't how that was possible when we were only together for so short a time and you're no longer even an option, but it's true.

I wish, so very much, that you were here. There's is so much more I could have said. So much more I wanted to. But I suppose I must trust what Aslan wills.

Raleigh had been cleaning up their place when he found them. Two or three letters that were unopened. Stamps on them but they weren't open and a part of him didn't want to open them. So instead he planned to wait for her to get back. Besides he needed to get cleaned up anyway. He'd ask her about them then.

It had been a dark time when David left. It had left Cynric on the edge of being able to understand himself; had left both himself and the Ace of Spades really rather bloody in a more vicious way than the usual--a fashion more like when Athena had abandoned them.

The letter had been written because he didn't know himself anymore. It hadn't been handed over for a few reasons. The first had been the knowledge that it was a cowardly, ridiculous thing to hand half of one's self a letter rather than facing up to the truth like a man. The rest had been that, well, the Spades had needed him to be better than the sharply cracked man David left behind. The Spades had needed a strong hand to step in and fix what had been left behind.

It's been years since he thought of the letter, tucked away in a volume of Russian literature he had ages ago been perusing. The handwriting is unmistakable; the neatly printed name on the front clear as day, likely to be handed over by a servant cleaning the library if the man himself doesn't find it. All in all, the words inside are incredibly concise.

I know you aren't going to understand. I'm not asking you to. I don't understand it myself.

If I stay here any longer, I'll not be the man you knew anyway. Please remember the person I used to be, not the one this has made me.'

And there, without a name, is the damning date of David's disappearance.

John normally kept to himself wanting to hide from anyone who might know who he was. The pain of his loss was still deep and horrible. So when he finds the letter slipped under his door, he can't believe it. It has to be some sort of a joke.
